We hired a Canadian canoe for the day for the 12 mile Farndon to Chester trip. Paul picked us up at Sandy Lane and made everything very easy. The trip itself was beautiful with plenty to see - we spotted at least 10 kingfishers along the route. We tool about 5 hours to complete the trip with a couple of... More

We did the half day trip in a Canadian canoe. Dale was excellent, very friendly and gave us a short and thorough briefing. All the equipment was provided and in very good condition. The river is quiet and scenic. Highly recommended!

Went with a bunch of friends of the full day trip from Farndon in 6 canadians and 1 kayak. What a great day we had: super weather, good equipment, couple of stops along the way to enjoy the views. Saw a couple of kingfishers. Dale very helpful, transfer from Sandy Lane spot on. Quite a tough route: 12 miles so... More

Went with a couple of friends on the half day kayak trip and had a fantastic time. The owner was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful route with lovely views. We even had time to have a picnic on the way. Perfect for both beginners and experienced people.

We had a wonderful day on my husbands birthday on a guided canoe expedition with Colin, our world champion canoeist. We were told how to canoe safely and then guided safely down stream from Farndon to Chester. Colin pointed out buzzards, a kingfisher and other things of interest as we went and he knew the perfect picnic spot. It was... More

Just back from a lovely one day canoe trip from Farndon to Chester with Chester Kayak. Dale was very helpful and quick to respond to my various email queries about what to book, and the whole day went very smoothly. The equipment was great, and as we were beginners, we also hired a guide for the trip, Anthony, who was... More
