Went on a Sunday for breakfast and took the dog along as this is one of only a few restaurants in town which is dog friendly. We had the cooked breakfast - delicious. Even better, as I didn't want the half a tomato, I was allowed to choose whatever I wanted to replace it (an extra sausage, obvs). Lovely coffees... More

A beautiful stop at The Artichoke for Gin and tonic sitting by the canal side. Really reasonable prices, good service and lovely gin. We also had coffee and a sandwich which was great too. Staff were very friendly and polite and service was prompt. Would definitely recommend a visit at anytime of the day.
