Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We love this little shop and have spent a therapeutic hour or two painting pots over the years. We love that we can choose our ceramic, various different designs and prices so there is something for everyone. You don’t even need to be arty! Well organised and we’ve been able to take our dog in with us. Definitely worth a visit.

Had such a lovely time here. Need to go a few days before you’re due to go home. But everything was explained before we started. Lots of choice for all the family to paint. Would go again

My husband and I were in Looe for our 9th wedding anniversary and as it was pottery we decided to paint a vase. We had a great time and love the finished item. The lady was very friendly and helpful. Very covid safe, we would recommend whatever age you are.

Having moved to Cornwall a while back, we’d looked for those unique things to do when the tourists have all gone home.
We came across the shop and booked a session so our son could do something special for his Nannie.
He hand painted a present with the most kind and caring teacher he could have. The lady was understanding, informative, kind and patient with our lad. He’s autistic but listened to her intently and took all her tips and advice easily.
Such a wonderful experience, never rushed and a great little place to spend some time.

A good thing to do for children on a wet day in Looe - or a sunny day when you're tired of the the beach or crabbing on the harbour! Very friendly people and you get to keep an excellent end product.

We've been here a few times before and now it has fortunately become an annual event. All five of us had a go this year....lovely staff, who explain everything to you and Never ever rush you to finish. We must have been there for nearly two hours....in pretty much silence as we all concentrated but the best thing is the three younger members of our family were phoneless for that time!!Yay!!Quality, family activity and so so relaxing.Thank you.

Run by 2 lovely ladies who make you feel very welcome. They explain how the colours change when they are glazed, offer a wide variety of items to paint and do not rush you - which is why we were there for 3 hours and 45 minutes! Please be aware that you can’t take your item home on the same day - you have to go back 2 days later, when it has been glazed. After you have seen your finished work of art, it is loving wrapped in bubble wrap for you to take home.

We stumbled upon this lovely little place whilst exploring Looe on holiday - the owner of the shop was very welcoming and clearly explained the process of creating our goodies.
I spent about an hour and a half painting a coffee mug (my partner didn't fancy his talents with a brush) which was very enjoyable and surprisingly therapeutic.
Once I was finished the shop owner took my details to have the mug posted home as we would be leaving before it was ready to collect after glazing and firing. The cost of postage (and the whole process really) was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend spending some time here, and will come back to paint again if I'm ever in the area!
