    Fabulous campsite
We have stayed at this campsite several times, and would definitely recommend it. It is a friendly site owned by Tanya and Andy and it is well kept and very clean. Camp fires are allowed, which is a bonus. They now have a permanent eatery onsite called The Barn, which does fantastic Wood fired pizzas, plus other things. It is close to Porth and Watergate Bay, although everywhere is Cornwall is easily accessible. We will definitely return

    Hidden gem
We stayed at Coastal crafts for a week during the May school holidays. I cannot recommend this hidden jem enough. The best campsite we have ever stayed at. We were greeted by Tanya and showed around her wonderful site. The site is smaller than others we have stayed at but that suited us perfectly. The service we received throughout our stay was 100% first class. The facilities were very clean and the new barn was the most amazing addition. We enjoyed pizza and tacos and drinks in the sunshine. The kids enjoyed the pocket of WiFi sitting in the sun checking their phones! Thank you Tanya and family for the best week, we cannot wait to return.

Another fabulous stay at this hidden gem
Another fabulous stay ... immaculate facilities, lovely site, amazing location. This year we were joined by family with grandchildren ... best holiday they ever had according to them Big thanks to Tara for organising the Bell Tent last minute so family wouldn't get soaked putting up the tent the first day they arrived. The Bell Tent is wonderful; a real treat for anyone who wants the glamping experience. Already want to book again for next year. Huge thank you to Tanya, Tara and Martin (the food barn - highly recommend) Look forward to seeing you again next year ... if not sooner if we have a late Indian summer Love and best wishes Martine, Ed, Ernie and family xxx

Great glamping but don’t set your heart on the crafts
Great bell tent, perfect for 2, would be a squeeze for 4. Loved the kitchen. Good site facilities, loos. The Barn a fabulous asset, especially the first night cosying up with the woodburner while the storm passed through. Beautiful location, loved going to Porth beach. But, we chose the site because we wanted glamping, we wanted a weekend of crafts and also wanted to go to Cornwall so we thought we had struck gold when we found “Coastal Valley Glamping & Crafts” located in Cornwall. Whilst Tanya put on one session of silk screen painting for us there is not a “whole host of activities” on offer as promised in communications from the site at the time of booking and subsequently. Tanya and Tara explained to me a week before our visit and during our visit that this was due to lack of demand, post covid recovery etc and that more activities happen in the week than on a weekend (we were a weekend stay). So, in short, there may be activities happening when you go but don’t bank on it and don’t book under the impression that it’s sort of a mini Centre Parcs with crafts. I exaggerate, we didn’t think it was that but having done Cloud 9 Glamping, and reading the website and subsequent emails from Coastal Valley we really were under the impression that there was a lot going on craft wise when there isn’t, or isn’t always - you may get luckier than we did.

I recently stayed at Coastal Valley camp site, along with 9 friends, to celebrate my friend Laura’s hen do and it was PERFECT!! I had some concerns prior to booking, as not all places are welcoming of hen groups, however, after liaising with Tara, I was convinced it was the perfect place to stay and it did not disappoint :)!
Her communication was outstanding from start to finish and she went above and beyond to make our stay amazing, providing information about the area, facilities, taxis and even gifted us a hamper for the bride.

We stayed in the Safari and Bell tent and they were both fantastic. Super clean, cosy and plenty of facilities. The communal areas were also great! The camp site is nestled in Cornish fields and surrounded by nature but is just a short drive away from some of Newquays outstanding beaches. The location was perfect for us, as we had yoga booked at Watergate bay and a night out in Newquay town, both of which were just a short drive away!

We made use of the holistic yurt and The Barn, where both Natalie (wellness in the wild) and Martin (the barn) provided outstanding hospitality and service. Natalie’s holistic yurt is just the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Having an early morning massage in such a warm, cosy, tranquil setting, is one of my most favourite things I’ve ever done. I could’ve stayed there all day!
Martin catered for us both Friday evening and Saturday morning. We had delicious stone baked pizzas, which he even delivered to the tents for us, along with a beautiful buffet breakfast the following morning. Such lovely people, so please go and support their businesses!

The girls had a fabulous time and it wouldn’t have been the same without the help and hospitality of Coastal Valley, so thank you so much xxx

Narrow road leading to campsite, pleased we we’re travelling with a small caravan. Check in is @3pm if you arrive early you sit & wait…
very friendly warm welcome & shown to pitch with brief introduction of facilities & expectations. Facilities are basic with ladies/gents shower block, in & outdoor washing up area, wetsuit wash and hang up area. It’s a lovely family friendly rustic site with an added bonus of the -BARN- serving delicious pizzas and great cocktails with a fabulous wood burner perfect for the British summer weather!
I would recommend Coastal valley camping.

We stayed in the bell tent at the site, it was just perfect. With all the amenities it was like being home from home. We didn’t have to take a thing other than clothes and ourselves. The space was ample for a family of 4. We had a chimney for a fire, with some wood on our arrival and more to purchase from the on site shop.and a gorgeous little welcome gift in the fridge.

An allocated parking space, opposite an open field for the children to play. The little bar onsite was amazing for food and drinks, it was our favourite end to the evening with a cosy fire and lovely little touches. Theres a little Itinerary of things on site displayed, from pastries, to story telling.

We were made to feel very welcome by Tanya and Tara, extremely friendly and helpful. The site was super clean, well managed and organised. Cannot fault a single thing.

The site is perfectly located to access many attractions, beaches and town. This is our first family holiday to Cornwall and staying here made it perfect, and lots of memories made.

I would highly recommend the site for camping and glamping.

Coastal Valley Camping Crafts is a real gem of a campsite, it is a small site, off the beaten track, yet with easy access to Porth, Newquay & beyond. The setting is idyllic: in a valley with a stream running through one side and cattle grazing on the hillside opposite. It is a great natural playground for the children who spend the whole week making new friends & playing hide & seek & IT etc in the woodland & beside the stream, not a screen in sight !!! The toilet/ shower facilities are excellent & always clean and presentable. Tanja & Andy and their staff are great hosts and always happy to help & advise. This was our third trip in a row to Coastal Valley, the addition of the Barn this year was great, a beautiful/ quirky stream-side bar & restaurant, open 5 days a week & serving great food, cold beer & cocktails - not to mention the amazing brownies & rocky roads... We would like to keep the site a well kept secret, so please don't tell too many people how wonderful it is !!
