Spacious and dog friendly beach fronting the sandunes and village of Holywell. Great surfing and looked after by the life guards. Worth a visit.

Fabulous shaped bay, crashing waves converge and all but knock you over. Get beyond the surf for swimming, with lifeguards on duty each day. Not great for beachocmbing, lots of lovely clean sand, easy walking, rocky backdrop, fantastic sunsets

Great for dogs to run and play, and of course great for the rest of us to walk and explore the coast. From the high sand dunes, the view out to sea is one of my favourites. Owned by the National Trust it is completely...More

Holly well beach is a stunning beach, very clean, there is plenty of parking near the beach, a 5 minute walk from car park, there is a fresh water stream running down into the sea. Dog friendly beach all year round. Life guards on patrol.

Holywell is a huge area to spend a day with family but the beach hurts like hell and most of us were picking stuff out of our soles the rest of the day. Crantock just around the coast and much much better and cleaner!

When the tide is out great for kids to explore the caves and rock pools. Best to bring or hire a wind protector. No café though so need to bring food/drinks or have a bbq.

Drive through Holywell & you come to a NT car park. From there it’s just a pleasant 10 minute walk to this stunning un crowded beach, it’s my favourite! There are no toilets or cafes on this beach, so take all you need... More

There were definitely on it when we went in March as I said hello to plenty but not sure about summer months. I know some beaches don't allow dogs in the summer but I don't recall seeing any signs.
