    Amazing day out.
We came here during our week holiday in Newquay with our 1 and a half year old little girl. We absolutely loved it and had the best day out! The staff are so so lovely and friendly and we had a laugh with the guy that does the tractor ride both the driver and the tour guide speaker. The animals are looked after really nicely and my little girl loved feeding the calf’s and lambs. There was so much to do outside as-well the little pedal tractors, the swings, the trampolines, slides and play equipment, sand pit etc. the indoor play area was also amazing so much space and lots to do and we loved the cannon ball shooting area we had so much fun in there (only thing they could probably do with some new balls) but we honestly had the best day and we would recommend and definitely return. Thank you so much.

    Fab place with young children
Fab so much to do, great fun with a 2 and 4 year old. Spent 3 hours here could have easily done double that on a fine weather day. Weather was awful but still so much undercover. Staff pleasant and helpful. Lady on the desk on 9/5/23 is a credit to the company, nothing too much trouble. Definitely would come back again.

    It was ok
Visited here and have very mixed views. Arrived around 11, felt a bit in the way to start with as a rep arrived at the same time as us and staff were busy trying to find someone, used the cafe which in all fairness looked a bit shabby. Loads of different play equipment for the children to use, from play grounds to sand pits to trampolines, indoor soft play. Various different animals to look at, found the timings for things a bit rubbish, the tractor ride was open very briefly so we missed that, bottle feeding animals we didn’t see, the pony rides and the two ladies doing it were really good, best part of the day. It’s not somewhere I would look to visit again personally (despite a ticket allowing us to go back within 7 days for free). With a name like dairyland I did expect to actually see a real dairy cow 😂

    Not disappointed
I went today with not having high expectations due to some comments but it turns out we had an amazing time we had a 5 and 7 year old. We could have stayed longer we arrived about 11.30 and left at closing. The tractor ride was fun and entertaining and was lovely to see the goslings and ducklings. We saw pigs, cows, calves, lambs, rabbits and lots more. Couldn’t get on the trampolines as they was always busy but the indoor play area was great. Lots of outside things for kids to play including lots of different sand pits. Staff friendly and welcoming. My only one grumble which might be me being fussy there wasn’t much choice in the farmhouse kitchen and a lot had sold out.

    Sunny day out
Lovely day out. I am local and can remember visiting Dairyland as a child myself. My children have been a few times but this week was our first visit for quite a while for various reasons. Kids enjoyed themselves, it was busy but it is half term! Animals well kept, kids really enjoyed the tractor ride and the guy with the microphone at the back was fab! I like how there are plenty of toilets at Dairyland including outside the entrance - very helpful!

    Fantastic Family Day Out
Visited today with my 3 year old and had an absolutely fantastic day, the animals were awesome and looked very well looked after, he especially loved the baby goats. The staff were faultless and everyone we met went above and beyond to ensure not just our day but most people's day was fantastic. I've seen a few people questioning the pricing, it's peak season in Cornwall so I'm not sure what you're expecting to pay! but you get a free return for 7 days so for most family tickets works out to be about £10 a day depending on how many times you go. The food from the Cafe was well priced and delicious as well, especially loved the breakfast roll. Great day and will definitely be visiting again!!
We're very happy you and the family have had such a great day with us! We'll be sure to pass on your feedback about our staff members to them as I'm sure they'll appreciate the kind words. We do try to be competitive with prices across the board and with our FREE 7 day return ticket we believe the value for money is very good! We hope to see you again soon

    Great day out
We had a lovely day with the grandsons last week at the park. There was enough for them to do. Staff were pleasant and the foods was good, toilets were clean and the park was litter free. There was definitely something for everyone. Its been a few years since we were members and the first time we have been with the grandchildren. They enjoyed petting the animals, the Ball Pit and the rocket launchers were great fun. The children are looking forward to returning when the new play equipment is finished. We will definitely be back for more fun over the summer.
Good Morning, We're glad you and the family have had such a great time with us :) We look forward to seeing you all again soon and great news! our new play equipment is now ready for everyone to play with :)

    Great day out.
Lots to do for children aged 4-8. Children loved the tractor ride, the death slide, trampolines, and go karts. All staff were friendly and welcoming. To get 5 star I would like to see some areas tidied up and made more aesthetically appealing.
We're very happy to see you've had such a good time with us, During our winter months we will be painting and refurbishing many areas of the park :) hopefully on a future visit you'll be able to add on the extra star :)

    Great Family Day Out
We had a great family day out here. Both children enjoyed seeing the animals and our 6 year old daughter really enjoyed the pony ride. There was lots of activities for the children in particular the children’s play area which kept them occupied. Would recommend for a family with small children.
We're thrilled that you've had such a great time with us! we look forward to seeing you again soon :)

Brilliant place to visit, we visited with a 1 year old and a 3 year old fun all round. We spent the hole day there with plenty off things to do. My little boys favourite was seeing the animals up close. The staff were super friendly and answered all my three year olds questions (he had a lot) well done. Would highly recommend and will visit again.

We’ve been going to Dairyland for many years now and it’s always proven a reasonable hit. However I just now feel the prices have gone too high. I know it included free return all week but the reality is if you’re on a week long holiday you are unlikely to spend all week there!!

The tractor ride and pony rides are not included in what is already pricey compared to other family attractions nearby eg lappa valley (the the tractor ride wasn’t up to much for £15 extra) Bug zone has disappeared with a build a bear type activity (not included in the price). There were no Easter crafts the weekend we were there despite being advertised.

You have to be on it to get a look in feeding the calves reliant on families sharing (I’m talking a 10 second max go per child) and organised to get to the cow show (we couldn’t find meet moo!)

I’ve alway recommended it as a reasonable day but I just really don’t think the £100 we spend as a family as 5 to get in and go on a brief tractor ride was value for money.

Should also say it is not suitable for anyone without kids / kids over the age of 10. There is nothing for these groups

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback/review, As you mentioned all of our tickets do come with a FREE 7 day return, something that alot of other attractions in the county don't do, as you may also be aware prices all over the UK are being raised due to rising costs and inflation and unfortunately we have to do the same, although once again in comparison we are one of the cheaper attractions in the county. For activities such as Pony & Tractor rides, these are a separate charge however all the money from these do go towards the animals and the upkeep of our nature trail (to which we have some awesome plans for later this year). Unfortunately the bugs have gone and we've just extended Build a Bear into that space. In regards to the crafts no being open, we have had staff scheduled to be in there, however we have had a few people go off ill over the two weeks and unfortunately do not have enough staff to cover all areas. There are plans to add more for older children in the future, we do have the obstacle course, pedal karts, indoor soft play & cannonball however which is suited for children around that age. once again we thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

This place is incredible. We visited with our 3 year old and 1 year old and they both had a great time!

There's plenty to do and you can easily spend a full day enjoying the various attractions, having lunch and of course seeing the animals!

The beauty of this place is that there's lots to do indoors and out, so don't let bad weather put you off!

Amazing family day out with lots to do, see, and education on the history of farming.

With our 7 day free return, it worked out at £8.50 per day for a family of 4, this is incredible value with very reasonable prices on good, drink and ice-cream whilst on site, with the cafe food being a very fair quality.

There were some very rude customers during rush hour (lunch time 12-13:30), and I felt sorry for some of the staff.

We actually spoke to some of the staff, and they are apparently short staffed but still did an incredible job (it's nice to appreciate people and ask questions).

We also found out that lots of new things are coming to the site, giving children more things to do, so we will definitely be back.

Nice family day out, with the added bonus of an ice cold shandy (I was the driver) at their lovely bar.

The farm animals and ponies are definitely the family favourites 😍 but the indoor play was also lots of fun.

See you again soon, Dairyland!

Shop/ reception staff were amazing on arrival. We visited on Easter Monday and Friday 5th April. We went down to the barn to see the animals, the ponies were lagged in mud as if they don’t get groomed daily. The pony called pumpkin that is on stable rest with a bad leg has severe sweetich (a sweetich rug will help with this ) all the ponies in and out of the stables looked really cold and sad ,really think some lightweight rugs wouldn’t go a miss . Being an equestrian/ farmer myself this wasn’t very nice to see as a paying customer, also me and my partner noticed that the calves have been ear tagged incorrectly as the ear tags are supposed to follow in numerical order and they had the squits which needs to be looked into by the vets. Our autistic daughter wanted to go on the pony rides, we headed down and stood in the queue. We weren’t very happy to see one of the members of staff waving around a stick with a plastic flag on the end of it around the ponies to move them around by the mounting block and also thought that it was strange for the members of staff to mount the children on the right hand side of the ponies when really they should be mounted on the left hand side. The cafe and the bull pen didn’t look like it had been cleaned very often and the disabled toilets wasn’t clean in the slightest. Nice place to go for a day out but unfortunately not happy how the standards have slipped.

Hello Charlie, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we always appreciate feedback good or bad. Firstly, in regards to Pumpkin, he has been seen by a vet many times over the last few weeks due to his injury. Pumpkin actually had lice and has been treated accordingly by said vets. We have a couple of ponies that do unfortunately have sweet itch so we are aware of the difference. Our ponies do get turned out into the fields daily when they aren’t in for the general public to view, and as you may know, as an equestrian/farmer yourself, the weather this year has been atrocious, but we don’t want to stop the ponies from enjoying some free turnout time. By grooming a muddy, wet pony you can actually do more harm than good, without giving them a bath (which it has been way too cold to do), and as you mentioned we don’t rug them all of the time, so we would like to keep the integrity of their coat intact so that they stay waterproof. We do have a rug for each individual pony, however at this time of the year they have not been clipped and have a full winter coat and are more than capable of dealing with a little Cornish weather. As for them looking sad, as I previously mentioned, they are mostly turned out, so their indoor stable time is usually spent sleeping (which ponies often do with their eyes open, making them look potentially “sad”). The lady down at pony rides with the flag has been training horses for over 20 years, and a flag is an excellent way to do this. As you’ve probably seen there is never any contact between the flag and the pony, it is simply used as a guide and very helpful training aid. Sticking with pony rides, mounting from the left hand side actually originates from when people used to go to war on horses! They would mount from the left so as not to hit the horse by accident with their swords. Our calves are brought in from a local dairy farm (as we are not a dairy farm anymore), so the order in which the calves are tagged are done correctly by the previous farmer. These numbers are assigned at birth and will remain with them for their whole life. As for the “squits” (more commonly known as scours), the calves may have had loose stools as they are babies and recently started transitioning onto hard food on top of their milk, but none of them have had scours. Quite often calves with bad scours will loose hair around their bottoms which none of ours have, and we clean the calves out every single day and have seen no evidence of them being unwell. In regards to certain areas of the park looking unclean, we are currently without a cleaner and have been actively trying to recruit in this area, in the meantime we rely on our core staff members to clean where possible, however during busy times these team members are working theirs and other departments so can sometimes fall behind, but rest assured these checks and cleans are done where possible everyday. Again we thank you for your feedback and look forward to seeing you on a future visit.

Visited in the past and the kids loved it, came again this Easter and it's still a hit!! The Easter trail is a winner, difficult but definitely worth a go! Kids get a prize regardless, lots of animals to see, lots of kids play areas and the food was delicious. Highly recommend if you have a young family!! Will be coming again

We are regular visitors to dairyland and it never disappoints for a great day out for kids and adults alike. We recently visited for their Easter events and had a great day doing the Easter trail, using the metal detectors to find the golden eggs and even had a ride on the lovely pony. Even on wetter days we put on wellies and waterproofs and my son loves jumping in muddy puddles and seeing all the animals. Definitely recommend for a visit

Another wet day on holiday so went to Dairyland - very quiet so got to enjoy tractor and trailer ride ( fed ducks!) kids enjoyed the Easter egg hunt - well organised! Lovely to meet the baby lambs. Bull pen whiled away a few hours from the rain - great slides and soft play for older kids. The cannons are always a favourite and we really enjoyed that when dodging hail storms! Highly recommend as indoor and outdoor day out - pricey and needs a touch up but if you get free return in 7 days its very worthwhile!

We were on holiday in Newquay for 3 days and thought we'd give Dairyland a try and glad we did. Our 6year old daughter loved every part of the park from the pony riding to the tractor ride to the arts and crafts.
The only down side was the lack of indoor seating for the restaurant.
We will definitely be back when we're down next.
