Saw this twice, once on a glorious sunny afternoon and then on a dull, chilly day. The beach is impressive, no matter the weather. Big sweep of sand and breakers rolling in. The beach is surrounded by surfing hire shops, cafes and shops. Must be...More

Polzeath Beach is a beautiful beach but hate going there in the peak season as it gets absolutely packed, and no where to park and no room on the beach. I think it is more popular now that many people know that the royals frequent...More

A must see and go to when in the area. We were very luck with the weather and even went surfing. It can get very busy during the summer but our visit was perfect as not too busy.

Nice beach, clean, parking very close, easy access even for the elderly. Lots for surfers, can make it a squeeze for playing with kids in the sea, but still a great place for half a day family beaching

The beach at Polzeath is great for all the family. Parking is hard to find on busy days due to the fact the beach is first class and super clean! Would definitely recommend a visit.

We come back here every year to go belly-boarding - yes good old fashioned wooden boards and definitely no wet suit! It is a patrolled beach and so we feel safe.
