- Cheryl PAirlie Beach, Australia52 contributionsGreat fun especially on a wet stormy day.The lighting and scene set ups great. The information re pirate/Conish history and folklore fascinating. Only allowing groups in timely manner so not feeling unduly stressed when finding a hole challenging!. Some interactive scenes . Good value and suitable for all family members. One part of the course bit scary for littleones. Very dark. Can see this activity developing, hope so!Thank you for your great detailed review!Written 29 March 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited December 2022Travelled with friendsWritten 2 January 2023
- Kay B9 contributionsAltogether a great activity for a wet day! This was really good, great exhibits and fun crazy golf to boot! I took three children aged 3, 11 and 12 It was a little scary for the youngest but luckily we could skip the scariest room! When we left he cried because he wanted to see the pirates again! Would definitely go back and play again, have a bit more time to read all the interesting snippets on the walls, without the littlest person! So glad you all enjoyed your experience! - TomTruro, United Kingdom15 contributionsGood way to pass an hour.As far as the adventure golf goes the holes aren’t overly challenging or special. However that aside, the scenery and the figures and fun facts as you make your way round the course are excellent! Also their are few interactive things to do on various holes such as dress up and picture opportunities. You book in aswell so you have no one waiting or following you round the course. Eventhough we didn’t go in peak time so imagine it gets a lot busier during summer time. Me my wife and kids did really enjoy though all in all and would definitely recommend. Lady that greeted us when we entered was also very polite and nice.Thank you for taking the time to rate and review! - David James CSt Austell, United Kingdom5 contributions£60ph attraction, Newquay has better optionsI like the concept, and it is well done, but £30 for 25mins doesn't seem very good value for money. I think at the very least they could add a few more holes to make it 18. Most were realy basic point to point without many obstacles or varying features. Thanks for your feedback, sorry the experience wasn't for you!Written 10 May 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2023Written 14 April 2023
- LasPalmas2000Dorking, United Kingdom13 contributionsGood family fun, but not for kids who are easily frightenedGreat fun. If you are into Crazy Golf, I will add that there are a few holes that are genuinely difficult. There's a 'scary' bit that is actually quite scary (Well done on that.) Maybe a bit pricey but what isn't these days? If you enjoy crazy golf, I give this a solid 8/10.Thank you for your feedback!Written 18 July 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 July 2023
- Rowan SHaywards Heath, United Kingdom25 contributions1hr Wet Weather FunFriendly, helpful staff. Best bit is the spooky Davy Jones locker section - hilarious! (And not too scary for 12 and 8 year old kids with me). Takes less than an hour to go all the way round so quite pricey for the time but still worth it for a one off on a rainy day. Bet the fright night is good fun.Visited July 2023Written 31 July 2023
- Simon B11 contributionsPricey. Basic/short holesDecent fun golf to kill an hour. Holes are very short and pretty basic, and there are only 12 of them. I’m no golfer but I think I got the first 5 holes in 2 shots each. The scary part was good fun though. Expensive for what it isVisited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 August 2023
- Sue WUnited Kingdom1 contributionSue's piratesPaided for 2 adults and 2 children to play just went in to watch and cost me another £7.50. Not impressed. Golf OK but very short holes and only 12. Staff friendly but alot of money for an hours play.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 27 August 2023

- Dawn W1 contributionGood fun, however not a lot of room.Really good course with lots of history and interesting exhibits. Really friendly at reception. However, difficult during busy times as there is not a lot of room between holes with lots of people waiting around to play the next hole. Would suggest longer time between booking slots to allow for those who take longer to complete a hole. Overall, good fun though.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 November 2023

We arrived, having not booked. They managed to squeeze us in before the next booking arrived. So pleased we got to do this as by far the best adventure golf we've ever played. Staff very friendly. All of the courses/holes were in excellent, basically new condition. There is one part that was hilarious but a little scary too, some jump scares shall I say! Great fun

Novel idea kids enjoyed it you have to pay for at least one adult which is fine but the other adult cannot come with you unless they pay for the meusem which I found to be a bit of a joke basically £7.95 to walk round with kids

Pirates Quest Adventure Golf... What an absolute treat!! Easy to find, a public car park across the road. My daughter & I enjoyed it as much as the grandchildren! As soon as you walk through the 1st door to the first hole, you are plunged into a wonderful atmosphere that continues until the end. The whole building is decorated out in great detail, taking you into a world of myths & legends. We had a super time & would highly recommend.
A very reasonably priced gift shop at the end, to pick up sovereigns & gifts.

Some great facts as you walk around the course, the scenery is impressive. Some of the holes are great others are simple, but it’s a fun experience.

This is listed on here as a museum. Is it indeed a museum of interest to adults with no children or is it really more suited for families with kids? thanks.

Hi. The experience is generally tailored to the group whether adults or kids. We were an all adult group (though granted perhaps have a child sense of humour 😂) and really enjoyed it. The history and facts were interesting and it was all interactive. Hope that answers your question

Hello. A 12 year old and 14 year old are perfect ages for the experience, but must be accompanied by an adult. Pirate's Quest is a family attraction so its suitable for all ages. Many thanks.
