Tolcarne beach is simply amazing, I try and stay twice a year, to visit my grandchildren, the staff do everything they possibly can to help you. If you are fit there is a steep cliff with stairs, sadly i am not, but I am more than happy to drive down, when you get there it's another world.

Large sandy beach with great views taking in the Harbour and other beaches in Newquay. Can be difficult to get on if disabled

The sea is clear, the sand is golden and clean and you can watch the surfers. Dogs allowed from Nov to March only but winter is my favourite time to visit

Standing on the footpath overlooking the guard rail is the super view of Tolcarne beach with the Atlantic Breakers and the surfers. Magical and a site for sore eyes to a city dweller from the North

A clean and interesting beach just below the main bus route in to Newquay. Not easily accessible however with more than one hundred steps to negotiate. Very good beach for surfers!

Lovely private beach - all, except dogs (March to Nov), can access. Watersports, easy access to town and facilities.

Stayed in Newquay for a couple of days at Victoria hotel and this beach is directly below. Beautiful sands and the day we were there in November, virtually deserted. Careful of the tides though, you can get caught out.

There are excellent views of "surfers" riding the waves. You can sit on one of the many benches along the front.
