Together with Fistral Beach and Newquay Bay this is a lovely area to visit. We parked in a car park approx 5 mins walk from Fistral Beach. The beaches are all lovely, sandy and clean. Lots of places nearby to eat or buy ice cream.

A very dog friendly beach close to the town where you can all enjoy the sea, life guards on duty keeping an eye out for the surfers and swimmers. The beach is a credit to Newquay and those who look after it.

Nice beach. Good range of cafes/cheap eats around fringes. Tides much calmer than Fistral Beach so more family friendly.

it would take alot for someone to convince me this is a poor area or beach, crystal clear water, very clean and great for kids (adults) to explore rock pools and caves or walk end to end when the tide is out, refreshments close by,...More

I love visiting this wonderful beach, the catering is great and there is always something to interest me. This time I enjoyed the surf school in operation .

Went here today, it’s a nice beach, the sand is good to make sandcastles. The toilets are located at the aquarium which is right on the beach so that was good. Could have done with a tap near the ramp to wash feet off before...More

Beautiful scenery, very clean and had everything we could possibly think of. It’s right in the centre of town so easy enough to walk to and plenty of places to grab a bite or drink. Highly recommend!

If you go make sure it is a calm day. The undercurrents around Cornwall can be dangerous.
