Beautiful garden and is quite a good size

I used to visit Trengwainton garden a lot when I was younger. I don't visit as much any more though but I know it is still a lovely garden and is worth a visit.

A lovely garden path leading up a slight hill alongside a stream. Too many lovely flowers and trees to count. At the top, emerge onto a lawn -- and look off to the left to see Penzance in the distance and a panoramic view of Mont's Bay. Find a bench to sit on and enjoy! Don't forget the lovely gift... More

A lovely National Trust Property with fabulous gardens and a very decent cafe. There's a very nice book shop amongst the lovely walled garden area. Stunning

Autumn is a lovely time in the garden all the different colours of the trees and shrubs, this garden showed all of this a lovely day and walk and the cafe didn't let it down the choice of food and home cooked cakes are a must, and they even do a doggy biscuit so your pooch doesn't miss out all... A lovely walk through these wonderful gardens, must be amazing in the spring and summer time when the plants are showing there best colors, but still worth a visit.

A magnificent garden, very impressed with the depth of the collection I know it is late in the season but the fushia were great. Difficulty in getting to the cafe as a tree had blown down

Filled with many rare and exotic plants that thrive in the mild climate of south west Cornwall. The walled a garden is very interesting. There is a good tea rooms situated on the edge of the car park but not easily accessible from the main garden without leaving and going through the car park. The gardens are well worth visiting

Although we visited right at the end of the season we still thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and the view of St Michaels mount from the terrace is wonderful. Also an excellent cafe in the grounds and a NT shop selling plants and other gifts.

We visited the cafe in September on a wet day. We observed a member of the catering staff drop a tea bag on the floor, pick it up, put it in a tea pot, fill the tea pot and give it to a customer. Before we left we approached the staff member concerned and suggested to her that doing this... More
