We visited this garden late October with friends. While we are NT members they were not but had to pay the full price for a garden that was well past its best and was really only a £5 garden at that time of year.

We visited these gardens on a beautiful Autumn day a week ago and will definitely return to see more. My elderly parents were able to walk around and enjoy the gardens with ease. The gardens seem much loved, and the staff on site were very...More

Another beautiful garden from the National Trust. We visited with our two 10 year old daughters and had a lovely half day exploring the varied gardens. There activity trail was interesting, as was the varied and well pitched information boards. Definitely worth a visit.

First visit here and wasn’t sure what to expect in October but were very happy with our choice. A really lovely spot, pretty walled gardens with some interesting plants. Lots of scope for the girls GCSE ceramics projects photography elements- some good textural inspiration. They...More

One of the best gardens in Cornwall whatever time of year you visit. Of particular note at this time of year are the Dicksonia ferns and the walled garden vegetables. When we visited they had the annual scarecrow show featuring "strong women" very good indeed....More

Real gem is the cafe which you can access without having to enter/pay for admission. The range of food on offer is pretty extensive and knocks spots of most National Trust cafes quality-wise too.
