We watched the Silence in this wee cinema last night. Perfectly acceptable venue and with the exception of two other patrons we had the viewing to ourselves. Very reasonable price at £5 for over 60s and £7 for younger adults - no problem. Drinks and food are available. Staff very affable.

Although this cinema has improved vastly with regard to cleanliness and staff attitude, the main cinema has a constant whirring noise from the projector (I assume) This is not noticeable during noisy scenes as the acoustics are brilliant. Unfortunately it is overpowering during scene conversations. It spoilt the show for our group.

Have been a couple of times to this cinema and the staff have always been helpful and friendly. It's not an up market, high end place but then the prices reflect this and I love the character its got. Thank you...I will return!

I believe that Penzance's Savoy Cinema is the oldest still functioning as a cinema in the UK. As I grew up in Penzance this is where I went with my schoolfriends for Saturday morning movies and Disney films with my family, looking forward to the Usherette's appearance with ice creams during the Intermission. Even the last times I went here... More

Visited the cinema during our week stay in Cornwall. Lovely cinema including a nice bar and restaurant. Reasonably priced 😊 Quite old fashioned set up in the cinema itself - lovely comfy seats! Really nice experience!

Went to see the BFG and thought the cinema was just lovely! The staff were ever so polite. It was very reasonable and cosy. The seats are quite high at the backs but they do provide boosters for children which worked a treat. Don't worry about sitting right at the front with small children it would work perfectly too. Wish... More

We decided to go and see this film Cinema had clean entrance area, fast booking service and allocated seating We were shown to our seats by a very polite staff member. Old fashioned seats nice to sit in Minor complaint that exit light at front was very bright and caused distraction.
