Booking and paying on the website was super easy. When I wanted to add more people to the booking, I emailed and Sam was very responsive.
Port Quin is a lovely harbour, perfect for standup paddleboarding, parking in a small NT carpark nearby.
Loads of other people doing kayaking and coasteering too.
Sam and Dylan were brilliant; Sam giving us the pre-boarding talk and Dylan coming out onto the water with us; giving us SUP hints and tips but also interesting information about the surrounding landscape. Loved our time on the water; the sun came out halfway through too!
Great set up and lovely chaps. Would definitely recommend. Thanks all!

Fantastic trip with Sam as our guide. Very easy to communicate with him to arrange the trip and he was very flexible adapting the trip to fit with our itinerary and kayaking experience. Sam is relaxed, friendly but you have every confidence that his vast knowledge of the local sea conditions and coastline will result in a safe & fun experience. Would highly recommend an adventure with this company if you're in the area.

Came here with my 10 year old daughter, we both loved the experience. Our guide, Jordan, was polite, friendly, informative and fun, he covered everything we needed to know without being patronising or taking too long on safety briefing. In the water he gave some interesting insight into the local area and it’s history.
Would definitely recommend to anyone with active younger kids or those wanting to get into kayaking

Had a wonderful experience with Sam last week. Both my partner and I had never been out sea kayaking before but Sam was a great guide and very knowledgeable of the surrounding coastline. If you are looking to get a taste of sea kayaking, explore some caves and learn about the area then I would highly recommend their sea kayaking sessions!

We had a great time on our kayaking trip with Archie! Started off doing drills and competitions in the harbour of Port Quin to familiarise ourselves with the kayak and manoeuvres. Then we headed off into the sea with Archie chatting to us the whole way - personal stories, little anecdotes and information on the area. We pulled into several caves and coves both in the kayaks and off them. We were able to check out several areas with Archie showing us hidden spots along the coastline, tunnels linking caves and even did some mini coasteering swimming through caves etc. We had an amazing morning and cannot recommend Archie and Cornish Coast Adventures enough! We were originally booked for later in the week but due to bad weather forecasted Archie and the team arranged for us to come along earlier on which we greatly appreciated rather than simply being told it was cancelled - the guys have a real commitment to giving you the best day possible!

This is a really great family trip. Port Quin is just so beautiful with many caves to explore. Sam was just brilliant with the kids aged (12 & 10) and came up with games and a stream of cheerful chat to settle them. It was beautiful weather but freezing but we still managed to take a plunge in our warm winter wetsuits! Really can’t recommend highly enough. Just loved it.

Sam went the extra mile to accommodated myself & my 9&11 year old kids on their first SUP private lesson, when they were a little under age for regular sessions.
Sam made them feel confident & relaxed & the kids thoroughly enjoined themselves. We will definitely be back for more! Thank you.

We had a very lovely couple of hours sea kayaking in the most beautiful setting with terrific weather. Our guide Sam was chilled, calm, knowledgeable and we felt safe. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our week in Cornwall.
Some things to know: port Quinn is tiny and the road to it is typically Cornish and the car park was compact let's say. There's also no toilets. Be extremely careful getting down to the port then back up- be prepared to reverse up or down steep narrow hills with passing places ( some idiot had parked in one but the key is in the name, passing place!)
We loved it and definitely recommend.

We booked the family sea kayaking trip.
This was such fun and we felt safe, as before starting there was a safety check and while out on the water he kept a watchful eye on the group.
The location is beautiful and the scenery stunning. Going out into the sea was exciting and felt so different from the stillness of the bay; so you are really getting the best of both worlds.
Jordan was a great guide filling our experience with stories from the area and challenges. We spent a lot of time laughing and it was just such a wonderful experience.
We highly recommend it for families who want to have some fun together.
Thanks to Sam, Jordan and the team.
Ps. Parking is limited so make sure you get there early enough to find some.

Had a great day kayaking with Archie as our guide. Really knowledgable and tailored the session to our abilities. Highly recommended! Parking is national trust and they have an honesty box for non members so take £2 with you.

Hello, I'm in wheelchair and couldn't do this but I know my son and husband would love to have a go. They don't like to leave me out but I'm happy to sit and wait - I wondered if there is a cafe close by and how long it lasts?, Thanks, Sue

Hi Sue, thanks for your enquiry.
There is a little vintage Cafe in Port Quin that does great sandwiches, cakes and drinks. We have private parking overlooking the harbour so it’s great for spectators too. If you can send me an email via the website I can hopefully get something booked in.
Regards
Sam

Are you open for business tomorrow, have two girls aged 12 and 13 who quite like the idea of coaststeering. They have some climbing exoerience.
Written 25 March 2015
Hi guys, sorry for my slow reply. We are not quite open yet this season as the weather and sea conditions have been a bit wild this Easter so far!
We would be happy to take you out another time if you are in the area and the sea conditions are a bit more favourable.
Regards
Sam
