This tour was great. Dave, our guide was funny and very knowledgeable about the show. It was a real pleasure walking around Port Isaac with him. He happily slowed the pace for our elderly auntie and answered our endless questions about Doc Martin and the local area with ease. Next time we're in Cornwall, we'll probably do the tour again, it was such fun. Highly recommend it.

We went on the Doc Martin tour on the 6th November. Mike was already waiting for us at the meeting area. Since the other party didn't show up, we had a one to one tour We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Mike made sure to make it really enjoyable and interactive asking questions about the show. Fortunately, I knew most of it. Not only did he give us a tour of the Doc Martin, he also told us a history of Port Isaac. I'm a big fan of the show so I was looking forward to the tour. I must say it didn't disappoint at all. Loved it!

We spent a wonderful 90 minutes with Mike who had been an extra on Doc Martin for all 9 seasons. He was a pleasure, informative not only about the show, the set, the actors and behind the scenes skuttlebut, but knowledgeable about the history of Port Issac too. We were American doing an 800 mile trip through the Southwest and Cornwall and this, along with our two night stay at the Schoolhouse, was a highlight of the trip……highly recommended…and ask for Mike!

A real highlight of our visit to Port Isaac. Informative, entertaining and well worth booking and paying locally. A full 90 minutes walking tour, with visits to ‘secret’ locations - full of anecdotes and real insight We hardly noticed the rain! as our guide Mike Meakins keep us fully occupied and entertained. A real gentleman and thoroughly engaging. This would be the first thing we would arrange if we return.

Booked direct at the meeting point shop `May Contain Nuts`on the day at £12.50 ph and saved money as booking through Tripadvisor was another £7. A quiet day and glad to say that we were the only ones on the tour. Probably due to half term and kids don`t really want a guided tour, and there was a nip in the air.. Met our guide Mike Meakins..What a lovely man. Very knowledgeable, and full of interesting facts and anecdotes. Had plenty of time to answer all questions, and was great to see some of the houses and establishments that I have only seen on TV.. Like everyone that visited, we can now all say when we see Doc Martin on TV "been there...seen that - went inside there" Our tour lasted about 2 hrs, because we were so engrossed and in awe of being in the very places that Doc Martin was filmed. Totally totally recommend this tour, Well done Mike, an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to been in your company that will be a great memory for ever.
