Quite possibly the best situated museum in the country- the view of the bay framed from the interior- equal to the beautiful works of art in the Tate itself - a gem in the Cornish landscape- breathtaking

The gallery is so much better since the extension. The permanent collection is wonderful and the latest special event by Anna Boghiguian is superb - lots of cutouts of various materials and some amazing installations - especially "Salt"

Visited St Ives and the Tate and Hepworth Museum. Interesting, thought provoking if not always understood. Great cafe, friendly people and stunning views.

Spectacular building and loved the history information, but I struggled with the artwork itself. We gave it a go, it was "interesting" just not my cup of tea. Great hot chocolate in the café, and fantastic views from the gallery out to sea and from...More

A warm welcome as we presented our Locals pass. Then in and up into the galleries, to see the St.Ives work in its rightful setting overlooking the beach and the Atlantic. As always the collection inspired and the "new" room with the promise of radical...More

Underwhelmed, really. Maybe I don't know enough about modern art to really appreciate what's on show, so I won't criticise! We bought a joint ticket to visit the Barbara Hepworth garden and studio on the same day, and enjoyed that more. Staff (apart from the...More
