What more is there to say! It's a bit tricky to find this place, I would say its a hidden gem. If you manage to make the trip and find it you won't be disappointed I'll tell you that. The best sand Ive stepped on to-date. It'll give the Maldives a run for the money. The water is so clear and pure. It can be a bit wavy on cold days but that's a given. The pictures won't do it justice. would definitely recommend a visit if you're ever in around the area

Beautiful stretch of beach and not too busy in early October. Clear blue sea and soft white sand. A pleasure to walk on with the dog.

Any beach in St Ives is worth a visit, be it for a swim or just for walking the dog - Out of season only.

Great beach to watch the sea and blow the cobwebs from your mind.

We stayed in October and the weather was fabulous. Lovely walks along the beach, swimming in the sea and watching the surfers and kayakers. Stunning sunsets. Fabulous views.

A busy beach in early September & when the conditions are right lots of surfers enjoying the swell.
Beautiful clean sand & clear water, outdoor showers plus toilets situated at one end of the beach.
Lifeguards on duty.

Beautiful beach for playing with children. Our son is 8yrs old and loved rock pooling and clambering over the rocks. The sand is a bit grainier than some of the other nearby beaches, but equally good for digging in and building with, but you may want a rug to sit on! The main draw is the sea and the tremendous waves which are great for body boarding and surfing. The beach is quite stepped, so when you're paddling, if you go deeper you might suddenly go much deeper than you expected - once to watch if you have smaller tots. Never seems as busy as Porthgwidden or Porthminster.

What a beautiful place. The views, the smells and sand.

Thankfully the work to the building has finished as the drilling last year was such a shame.

The pebble row in the middle Is great for finding shaped rocks.

The water is clear, you can see little shrimp and schools of tiddly fish when the conditions are right.

The surf school is brilliant. The bodyboarding her can catch huge waves.

I hope it never changes

Excellent beach a stones throw from St Ives town. Lovely clean sands even on a busy day, toilets nearby. We went on a evening to as the sunsets from here are amazing even at 9.15pm on the evening lots of people about. Would definitely good again.
