A 4.5 mile walk along the South West Coast Path to blow away the cobwebs, travelling alongside the railway line high above St Ives Bay, through an area rich in ancient history, from Stone Age times to the nineteenth century, when lookouts watched...more

We got the train from St Ives to Lelant Saltings then did this walk back. Both the train and the walk had great coastal scenery to admire. There are some ups and downs though the walk is not too long and you can pause at...More
Takes about two hours from Lelant Park & Ride Station. The coastal walk is beautiful but bear in mind that it is very narrow in places and very hilly! The views, particularly of the Hayle estuary, are spectacular although much of the walk is through...More

As you would expect with the Coast Path some of it is along cliff tops, but on this section whenever you are close to an edge there is either a fence or a bank between you and the drop, so you should be fine.
