This is an ideal what to travel to Falmouth from St. Mawes. Good value and very regular - just be aware that the service finishes around 5.30 pm - therefore not ideal if you fancy an evening meal in Falmouth.

Took the ferry on our friends return trip from St Mawes. Thought we would join them just for fun. It was great. Great views and friendly staff. It was quite a laugh. Very informal. Good fun.

So great, worth the trip even if you didn't need to go anywhere. The people who work on the ferries are incredibly friendly, as are the chaps in the harbour. Also took the ferry to Place which was a hoot on a small boat.
