Visited with an organised group of friends and was most impressed with the whole organisation. The gentleman and wife who shewed us around could not have been more helpful..

It is important to state that we had a special reason to be there and we did not have a commercial guided tour. But we did enjoy soaking up the atmosphere of the place and its history, especially around the war and the involvement and impact of the allied forces at that time so I suggest read about all this... In a way felt honoured to be there at all. Thorough information of history related by very friendly guide Nicola. Thank-you. Really impressive building with vast anecdotes. However, as a visitor with authorised guide there was so much clearly not seen. We stood outside, visited the Chapel, main hall and dining room. This clearly only scratched the surface of daily... The guide was enthusiastic and very informative as we toured the main building for over two hours. There were plenty of interesting stories and I would recommend this tour for adults and children over 12.

Yes indeed the reviews are darn right . The college, ( just the front glamorous building is explored) is extremely engagingly show-cased by our welcoming guide who is funny, warm, authoritative and enormously factually resourceful. His audibility is always excellent and his eloquence is creative but not obscure. Only a misdirected miserly malcontent would append a negative review. The Royal... More

It starts at the bandstand in Dartmouth where security/identity checks are done and then you are taken by bus to the college. Our guide was an ex Staff Officer at the college so had a lot of inside knowledge and plenty of anecdotes. A must not miss if you are in south Devon.

I did this tour whilst staying in Kingswear and seeing the impressive college building from the distance overlooking the town. The tour was very interesting, the tour guide definitely knew his stuff and the building itself was very grand both outside and in. If you've an interest in naval history, or just British history, or didn't know you had an... More

Visited with wife and two friends. We live locally but have never had the opportunity to visit the College. What a wonderful two hours it was! Collected in Dartmouth centre and taken to the College by mini-bus before a tour conducted by an amusing retired naval officer who had attended the College and therefore understood its history, workings and many...
