The Beach is stunningly beautiful, yet don't be misled by the name 'Sands'! The beach is in fact small pebble/ shingle however still beautiful and set within a bay of clean blue sea flanked by two headlands and backed by forestry and countryside. The beach has its own car park (fee was £4.00 for a car Sept 2020), this is for the whole day. If you hope to pay less for a quick hour's visit or two, think again! No barbeques are allowed on the beach. Lovely place to relax, does get busy but large enough to spread comfortably. Get here early during Peak periods.…

Parking right next to the beach, walking along before grabbing coffee and cake from the beach cafe. Great views and good coffee.

Later in the day I realised I was missing my Pandora bracelet. We had been on the beach and the cafe. I phoned and left a message not really thinking I would here back. Three days later I had a call and a chap called Fergie had found it while cleaning our table. I was over the moon. Thank you so much . Of cause we had to go back and have another super lunch! We would highly recommend. …
