We had a great time trying out this new acivity for my daughters birthday. All of us (young and old, (from 10-46) mastered the technique very quickly after a brief but detailed training session by Colin. We were soon zooming up and down the river attracting quite alot of attention. One person said it looked like there was moter on my board!! There wasnt it was just my legs and fantastic design which makes it really easy to operate! The boards themselves felt very stable and nobody fell in. We will go again.

I have tried many water sports but this is by far my favourite! My mum and I had never heard of pedal boarding but we picked up a leaflet and immediately it caught our interest. The man told us how to use the boards (really simple to grasp) and we were off within minutes. He was so friendly and helpful. We pedalled on the The Quay in Exeter with is absolutely beautiful. The was music playing and swans and ducks everywhere. I really recommend doing this as I’m never going to forget this experience. It was so fun!

I visited Pedalpaddle today with my 11 year old son and 14 year old daughter. My daughter was very apprehensive....but the boards are very stable and within 5 mins we were all whizzing up and down the water! At no point do you feel the boards will tip - great value for money and certainly something the whole family can enjoy. No specific clothing or footwear needed and life jackets are provided. Friendly staff provide encouragement and advice - we will definitely be returning!

Took my son pedalboarding at pedalpaddle today, his first time on any type of board on water. bouyancy aids were provided even though the boards feel very stable and don't make you feel like you re going to spend any time in the water. Colin, the owner, gave us a brief instruction on getting on, pedaling and steering, which is all very straight forward and then a quick couple of turns by the jetty to check balance and away we went. The boards are very easy to manoeuvre and the pedaling is smooth and can be a gentle paddle up the river or a faster pace to gain more speed. The quayside where pedalpaddle is based is a lovely venue as well with a bustling quayside and a safe area to learn the basics. Colin also paddled up river to give my son encouragement and advice just so he relaxed a bit more,so by the time we finished he was enjoying the boarding rather than feeling any nerves. All in all a great experience, Colin and Olly were very helpfull and i would recomend giving it a go. I will be going back and hopefully hiring the boards for a longer trip up the river over half a day or more.
