Very disappointed, nothing to see. the place is not very interesting and as far as I am concerned a waste of time. There are so many other interesting sites in Exeter. I would not recommend this to anyone.

We joined a number of Red Coat tours and recommend this one too. The catacombs are an interesting story and part of the rich history of Exeter. The catacomb floor was a little muddy so don't wear your best shoes.

I expected something underground, but if they were here somewhere, I couldn't find them. All I found was an old and relatively small series of crypts and tombs. Not a bad walk, but just sort of out of the way and nothing really interesting.

Good tour of town including catacombs. Very interesting with knowledgeable guides. Would never know they were there and would be even less likely to visit on one's own.

These are worth popping along to tale a look at if you are in the area. However, they don't match up to the ones at Highgate cemetery in London

I visited as part of a Red Coat tour and was enthralled at the lengths they went to when remembering their dead. The catacombes are mysterious, being so different to what we do now, but an excellent system. Definitely worth a visit

Was an interesting walk, with the Exeter Red Coat guided tour, but the actual underground passages were underwhelming. It's just a hallway of potential burial catacombs with only about 6 actual gravesites inside. Something to see, but not terribly exciting.
