Noticed the sign advertising vegan and vegetarian food as I was on my way to another nearby eaterie. Decided to take the risk and try somewhere new. Good choice of simple vegan/ vegetarian options. Burgers, jacket potatoes, toasties and chips etc. It's primarily a music...More

The Cavern has been home to Exeter’s alternative scene for over 2 decades and continues to promote local talent as well as host a dizzying range of performers usually seen in far larger venues. The Management and staff are always friendly and courteous and I...More

Day time is a restaurant - amazing veggie/vegan fast food! Great milkshake! Children are allowed too. Does obviously have the dingy sticky floor, but who cares! Staff weren’t all that attentive but oh well. Wouldn’t put me off going regularly!

Stopped by for lunch. Great veggie and vegan food for lunch and really reasonably priced. Tasty. It's a little dark down there and felt a little sticky but i suppose as it's usually a gig venue that is to be expected.

I'd found this place online and wanted to try it, menu looked good and really reasonably priced. I spotted the sign out of the corner of my eye and we headed over, I would not have been drawn in if I hadn't seen it online!...More

When we eventually found it, staff were really friendly, drinks were pretty cheap for these days prices. We came for the recent Hell is for Heroes gig, really good atmosphere, had that genuine in touch feel that is slowly being killed off by property development...More

As you would expect. Underground and dimly lit. However I had a jackfruit burger and vegan banana shake. Very reasonable prices and well cooked and very tasty. Good service and atmosphere. Most enjoyable
