After leaving my children decided they wanted the toilet. They knew where it was just inside the entrance so they went back to use it, I stayed outside to avoid the hassle of using the slow lift to get back in and out.
Or at least the UK... ;) The staff is very welcoming and the museum is the perfect size - not so huge it can't be seen in two hours but at the same time you can spend here the whole day if you want to....More

Staff very helpful and museum very interesting. Not overly big but able to fill in a couple of hours. Interesting exhibits with info panels to give history etc.
A very Victorian building which has enormous charm packed with 'stuff'. Somewhat randomly arranged but with clear themes, local history, world objects, geology us a temporary gallery devoted to paintings by women from their own archives.
Great fun. Friendly staff. Toilets and a cafe .
The Royal Victoria and Albert Museum in Exeter is a real gem , and free admission as well. Full of interesting artefacts , local and from further afield . Also amazing Art displays. Very child friendly with loads of things to interact with . There...More
