Go here fairly often also take the children who absolutely love it, so many things to see, beautiful old building, has a cafe, well worth a visit.

Called and n here in fill in some time before heading back to airport. Staff very helpful and museum very interesting. Not overly big but able to fill in a couple of hours. Interesting exhibits with info panels to give history etc.

A very Victorian building which has enormous charm packed with 'stuff'. Somewhat randomly arranged but with clear themes, local history, world objects, geology us a temporary gallery devoted to paintings by women from their own archives. Great fun. Friendly staff. Toilets and a cafe .

Try to go here every few months as always different exhibitions going on. We love photography exhibitions which are really great. Also, a great cafe to have a snack.

Victorian building dedicated to the memory of Prince Albert. Very relevant displays with furniture and stories from that era. Staff are friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable.
