A beautiful walk from Lynmouth to the Watersmeet. We did it as a circular walk with the tea shop as a stop half way round. Tea shop was very busy and the tea was not hot enough (not made with boiling water) but it was...More

Woodland walking, stone and mud paths, a little uneven under foot so good walking shoes recommended and a stick for those who are less sure footed maybe.

We walked from the very top National Trust car park, past Watersmeet, down to Lynton and back. A great day out and lots to see, can be busy in Summer, so pick the day you want to go to avoid crowds

This walk is potentially one of the best I have been on in the south! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. You get a real sense of the great outdoors and being with nature! Its very peaceful! Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect walk with a lovely cream tea as a reward. Be prepared it’s a little hilly but so worth it.

The trail from the parking is easy to follow and quite firm underfoot. The house is in a lovely position and has many garden birds to watch - sheer joy.
