This cinema is brilliant. Felt really looked after, the lady showed us to our seats, so no trying to negitiate steps and look for seat numbers in the dark. The sweets were shop prices, no extortionate mark up, and the tickets were £5 with concessions.. Plenty of leg room, with really good sound. An excellent evening out while on a... More

We had a rainy day yesterday so we went to see Swallows and Amazons here. It was delightful. We were shown to our seats by the manager who had lovely stories to tell us, not only of this cinema but about the history of some of our oldest cinemas in Wales. It was intimate and lovely.

Love this cinema. Always visit when we are in the area for a couple of weeks. It is like a trip to the cinema used to.

Whilst staying in Lynton for a couple of nights we decided to go to the cinema on the recommendation of a couple whilst on a walk. Lovely little cinema, only about 50 seats so it's advisable to book if you want to go on a Friday evening. Very comfortable with plenty of leg room. Staff all really friendly. Very reasonable... Saw Bridget Jones baby at this lovely cinema. Small, cosy and the seats are like armchairs. Well run and a great little cinema. The film was excellent.

This is a refreshing change from the multiplex cinemas in larger towns. It only has 68 seats so you need to 'book'. You ring them to let them know you're coming, but pay on arrival. A very low key arrangement. They show new releases and have a range of refreshments at the entrance. Dogs are allowed too. Recommended.

We saw the BFG film at this cinema, the cinema is small if you're comparing it to the London cinemas. We got to choose where we wanted to sit and we had local Devon ice-cream to eat during the film. Tickets are very cheap, we bought four tickets and four ice-creams and it all came to £22.00. Which for a... More

Of a cinema and well worth a visit. Shows current films in old fashioned surroundings and at a fiver a head a bargain. Shame films don't have an intermission these days, a woman with a tray of icecream tubs would have been the cherry on the cake
