A lovely coastal walk with great views. Takes about 45 mins as a circular trip from Lynton. Some sheer drops so not for those frightened of heights.

A stunning landscape with possibly the most picturesque cricket ground in the country. A great coastal walk with stunning views, a chance of seeing some stunning sunsets and add in the wild ponies and goats against the backdrop of some spectacular rock formations.

We visited whilst on holiday in Burnham on Sea. It was a bit of a tricky drive to get there but well worth it. The walk was lovely. Fantastic views.

The coast path from Lynton to the Valley of Rocks is an easy walk as the path is mainly on the level and is tarmac. As others have mentioned, be aware there is a huge drop down to the sea with no form of safety...More

Not that I know of. The main spot for fossiling on the South West Coast Path are Lyme Regis and Charmouth on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset (about 2 hours away by car)
