Bury me here.

Well of course it would be peaceful! It's good in all weathers if you want to just spend some time on your own. Good place to think. Great for spotting various birds all year round and ideal for butterflies, squirrels, rabbits and the occasional fox etc. Some very interesting facts are available in the visitors centre and one or two... I often walk through here. I am surprised by the recent review that suggests that the cemetery is closed at weekends. I have never known this. I believe that it is open daily from 9am until 4 pm in winter and until 6pm in the summer. The museum/chapel is open several days a week and usually for 3 hours or... More

This is a great place to visit. The cemetery has such interesting stories to tell and is packed with Victorian history, from the amazing monuments to the scary stories of some of the people buried there. Wildlife abounds with some rare creatures visiting or making the cemetery their home. There is a small and cosy café and cemetery staff provide... More

When I lost my Mum last year, we didn't know which cemetery would be best until someone told us about Ford park.... my family & I are so glad we picked here as it's just right. My Mum was an argyle fan so she is close enough to still here the match day atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful with all... More

I walk my dog here daily, staff are friendly and chat each time they see you. The cemetery run regular events we recently went to a murder and mystery walk which was fab and no charge just a donation if you wished. Lovely place to take the children to collect pine cones and watch some lovely wildlife.

Early Victorian cemetery. Large varied expanse of trees pathways and burial areas across gentle slope as well as flatter parts. Very well kept given the state it was in twenty years ago and that it is run by a charitable trust who have brought it back from bankruptcy and closure. Easily the most relaxed and uninstitutuionalised of the Plymouth cemeteries.... More

A Victorian cemetery brought back from a financial failure to be a real asset and facility. It is a good place to walk and reflect, to see wild flowers birds and animals, to see the tombs and head stones of a century and a half, a lovely restored chapel and an enthusiastic Trust and team of employees and volunteers who... Lovely old Victorian Cemetery . A similar period to Highgate Cemetery in London but being in Plymouth has far more military and particularly naval graves. It is still a working cemetary and beautifully kept by volunteers. One of the restored lodges is used as an exhibition centre with a tearoom and a shop. We saw an exhibition on Victorian Plymouth....
