I must admit the aquarium is beautiful. Well facilitated and accessible for all. I would recommend it. A very short but sweet visit though. We were round in 2 and a half hours. I really enjoyed it and so did our son. Could of been more staff around to ask questions thats the only fault.

Really nice venue for a daytime visit or an evening dinner function. There is plenty to see and there are some variety of themed tanks (e.g. tropical). A particular fond memory was the jellyfish tank, it wasn't very big but mesmerising with clever lighting and water flow. The dinner function was great as a few areas of the aquarium were... More

Visited Plymouth just after New Year so off-season & not crowded! Drizzly day so indoor activity most welcome; really enjoyed Santa hats on suspended life-size whale/dolphin models (how DID they get up there?) very informative and interesting exhibition of sea-life around Plymouth and further out in the oceans, with details of preservation and sustainability issues. The octopus feeding is a... More

I visited here with my daughters and grandson. Our ages ranged from 8 to over 80 and we all enjoyed the experience. It was particularly exciting to be able to be both alongside and under the fish, particularly the sharks and rays, as they swan by in the enormous tank in which they are located, and we all learned a... Entry a bit pricey but ticket valid then for a year. Only took a couple of hours to go around - lots of different species to see and staff very knowledgeable - certainly worth a look around

Great day out, well planned and lovely kept venue. I felt a little pricey for a family, but did give half price access off of further visits or other venues.

£32 for 2 adults and we were done within 30-45 mins. Very expensive and nothing that exciting. It wasn't busy when we went so that was a plus. Great views of the harbour and plenty to see and do around. Lots of lovely cafe's. I would imagine if you went here with small kids they would be fascinated but not... More

Really enjoyed visiting the aquarium, packed with information about the animals & conservation. Great educational visit - even for adults !! Loved the huge tank & watching the sharks & rays, quite mesmerising.

This really is a great activity for all ages! Although harder to enjoy when busy, the Aquarium is set out well with a huge variety of sealife. Very informative and interactive in some areas. They also have a cafe although I am unsure how expensive this is.

Thanks for your kind feedback. We've being trying to revamp our exhibitions, and in 2016 updated two to make them more interactive and informative. There are more developments to come so watch this space. More
