Mayflower Marina is a 400 berth fully serviced marina located within the historic naval city of Plymouth and overlooking the picturesque Mt Edgcumbe Country Park. We are proud of our marina. Our berth holders often talk about being part of 'the...more
this marina was going to suit our sailing itinery so called ahead and secured a berth.the people working here are all very friendly and the services are as you would expect from a modern day marina, top class.
Pretty close to being a 5* marina.
The bathrooms are very good and clean, but could do with something to dry your hands with after using the loo. Using the hairdryer for your hands is a bit of faff.
Because of the good bathrooms nothing...More

Thank you for visiting our marina and for taking the time to post a review.
In response to your point about hand drying; we do have a super efficient electric hand dryer in the foyer of our bathroom block but granted there is not one...More
We have been here a few times instead of using Sutton Harbour. Always phone/radio ahead to book a mooring. Quite difficult to navigate to berth as signage small and layout confusing but Harbour Master helpful - will also give a hand to tie up. The...More

Many thanks for your review. You are clearly familiar with our marina but for those who are note we will always try to take the lines from visitors and our berth holders; and we are happy to provide 'directions' over VHF or mobile to visitors...More
We stayed on a boat with some friends during the International Firework Display. We were impressed by the friendliness of everyone and the bathrooms ( yes, bathrooms!) on the quayside are really very good. The parking was easy and felt secure.

Thanks for your review. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit to our marina.
Nicely situated marina with better views than the other main marinas. The mooring can get very bumpy in certain conditions and not always in inclement weather. The "Superloos" are now looking a bit tired and need a thorough overhaul.More

Thank you for your comments and for visiting our marina. Picking up the point about the 'superloos' looking a bit tired; we are at the end of a very busy summer season and our facilities do get heavy use. Now things have quietened down a...More
We liked this marina for its reasonable price, good location, adequate facilities and friendly staff. We stayed here for six weeks while we modified our yacht for ocean cruising. If you need work done there are rigging, grp, electrical, sail and canvas suppliers close at...More

Many thanks for your response. We are glad to hear that your enjoyed your stay.
A quick stopover to top up with water etc before heading to our swinging mooring cost £14 for 4 hours! The same at QAB around the corner was £8! Poorly marked finger berths if you are not familiar with the Marina. We like jolly jacks...More
After a day battling in 35mph easterly wind I arrived at the marina. A member of staff was waiting to take a line. Excellent service. The showers are like being at home. Heated rooms, spotlessly clean. A real credit to the marina. Stunning surroundings with...More
