This sort of pub is somewhat lacking nowadays- friendly local type pub with super atmosphere and good beer. Nothing pretentious, but far superior to some other much more lauded pubs in Plymouth.

A very pleasant old fashioned pub with great character, serving real ale, snacks on the bar. A very friendly bar person serving who was happy to have a chat with you and offer advice.

It can get busy, there is occasional live music, usually a singer. It has a traditional carpeted lounge feel. In my experience it usually caters for older men, retirement age, although younger groups do pass through working their way down Southside St. The Queens is...More

Brilliant ale, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere (no tv and light music) even better no phone signal for you can hide away for a quiet pint

Been in here a lot recently and always have a good night. You could probably go in here alone and feel welcome. It’s a friendly place that doesn’t try to be modern. One of my favourites in Plymouth. The toilets could do with a refresh

We passed by this pub on a Sunday and heard singing inside and decided to drop by. It was sing-along night. Great band and great staff
