If you're a beer drinker and visit Plymouth don't miss out on dropping in to 'The Dolphin'. A proper pub in every sense of the word. Looks grubby but it isn't. Spotlessly clean in that shabby chic way. Great beers with the best, Bass properly...More

Going to the Dolphin is now a pilgrimage. It use to be my Saturday night watering hole but now it is for when I visit Plymouth. A pint of Bass is pure nectar and to just sit in there is idyllic bliss

Traditional pub slightly run down in a quaint sort of way, beers in barrels, a friendly honest LL and a loyal group of regulars, several Camra awards, would be haopy to call my local so thumbs up👍🏻 Ps Cash only?

Very welcoming early evening on a week day, coal fire going and cosy. Traditional sort of pub with a good drinks range and food too. Highly recommended, Barbican is a must see area too!

They don't, there's just the bar, it's not a private function kind of place, but there are dozens of Plymouth pubs and clubs that will provide a free function room provided you drink their booze.

It seems they have acquired the entire estate of Punch Taverns (wont let me post the link). They stress they're keen to work with and keep the ethos of those pubs they take over. Time will tell.
