The location of the tower gives you 360 degree vistas of Plymouth Sound, Plymouth and Dartmoor. Mountbatten can be accessed from the Barbican by taxi ferry or by the number 2A bus from the City Centre at Royal Parade. I don't think it is possible...More

Other than a rather neglected looking plaque on site you'll struggle to find out much about this. Have a proper look online and you'll find enough information to satisfy your curiosity but it could do with bit more use by the local authority.

Why travel by car when you can travel by boat. The parking in Plymouth is very costly so park for free at mount Batten and sail across. Fantastic :>)
