About
Sutton Harbour Marina has once again been awarded the coveted 5 Gold Anchor rating in recognition of its first class facilities and superior customer service. The marina, which occupies a unique location in the historic heart of Britain's Ocean City offers an especially secure environment for boat owners, with 24 hour secure access monitored by CCTV and a highly sheltered array of flexible berths in a safe harbour protected by lock gates.A strong focus on exemplary customer service has helped to make the marina such a success, along with its unbeatable location in one of the finest harbours in the country, offering unparalleled access to world-class cruising waters.Flexible berths are available for motor and sailing vessels up to 25 metres, and many berth holders choose to keep their boats at Sutton Harbour Marina in Plymouth despite living many hundreds of miles away.Berth holders enjoy a lively annual events programme, and many often praise the exceptionally friendly staff who make up the marina customer care team.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very well maintained, friendly staff, good location. Safety issues with dogs and leads blocking walkways. Even fur in shower!

Having motored down for a 4 day fishing holiday from Southampton, we unexpectedly where unable to sail home.
We called all the other marinas in Plymouth to try to arrange a weeks berthing until we could get back and sail the boat home and got responses from “no we fully booked’ to ‘I can call you back later’.
No such fobbing off at Sutton Harbour!
The kind lady on reception is a credit to the company, not only spending a good deal of time to find us a berth, but also taking the time to show us the berth and sending a team member to take a line when we came alongside.
Sutton Harbour thank you very much for the excellent customer service and help in a semi-crisis!

Excellent cost effective, safe and secure berthing for small boats and jetskis. No idea what the prices are like for larger craft, but they are reasonable for smaller craft. With it being sheltered, larger craft don't have to worry about damage during storms that can occur in other marinas.
There is a choice of simple berthing with no car parking or facilities, or the full works with nice toilets, parking, laundry etc. A package to suit your budget.
The location is stunning, right in the centre of Plymouth by the Barbican.
I'm just starting my second year of berthing with them. The marina is lovely, the staff are great. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

The title says it all really.
It's really cute. The rest of the city isn't.
I need to write 100 characters so here there are.

The larger half of the pontoons have exits away from the Parade and Southside Street nightlife areas. The new HonkyTonk Wine Library is a short distance across the northern side and offers a large selection of pouring wines with a fair selection of cheeses and other local artisan deli snacks. Space to sit outside very close to and looking over the boats or inside on chill evenings.

Sutton Marina contains a fair few Yachts & Boats of differing styles which in General can mean only one thing........Money Money Money. Close to the Barbican with its many Bars, Restaurants and Gift Shops as well as History. So if you have one of these fine vessels and are looking for a mooring with plenty of Facilities then this could be the answer.

The most expensive marina we have stayed in for years - location had drunk people jumping into the marina but most incredibly no WIFI available unless you went to the office!! Unbelievable at £50 a night -will never visit again.

Stayed at Sutton Marina, but it is expensive, the facilities are clean but looking old and tired. Lock Keeper and Berthing Staff were great, but reception and manager need lessons in customer service, I felt I was interrupting something!
Very expensive for what you get, moved across to Plymouth Yacht Haven - they were great!

It was time to visit Plymouth again so Sutton marina was the best option. Great facilities and very helpful staff.
Close to the Barbican for day and night entertainment and the main city is a short walk away. Prices are fair for the amininities.
