Seems to have CLOSED and been gutted with lots of work going on.

Four months after Live Lounge closed and work was announced on a new bar. Today it has opened. Branded as OMG Bar it is open from noon until 2am daily. The owners say the interior works have been very substantial. It is selling teas coffee...More

We used to come here for some fairly good live gigs maybe 5, 10 and more years ago but lately there has been nothing like that and the place seems to have badly foundered and fallen by the wayside. Last night it was dark and...More

This venue is truly one of, if not THE, most disgusting 'dive' on Plymouth Barbican. Filthy dirty, seedy and expensive; to be avoided at all costs and certainly do NOT pay to enter! A particularly poor choice for a Singles Night since the appalling band...More

The outstandingly successful Catch 22 fish cafe/restaurant has moved across the Parade to occupy the front part of this club and the cobbles outside as a base until it's large barge conversion project is complete possible in 16 months time. The Barbican Live Lounge has...More

Tried to charge £2 entry to a nearly empty bar with boring performer followed by a cheesy DJ. Door staff were busy flirting with local slappers. Dirtiest establishment I've seen for some time. Dead plant near the door, filthy toilets with 70's fittings, passive/aggressive patrons....More

First of all the drinks are extortionate! £4 for all drinks no variation in price for the bottles and pints. The pints didn't taste right so had to be swapped Stella with a bitter after taste, later on the bar man couldn't pull a pint...More

If you were in a big group and knew there was good live music then you might come here. Its not a place to come just for a drink. There is a continuing general cleanliness problem and I have found that the draught beers or...More

I wouldn't come here unless there was live music being played, the place is quite grotty (blood stains on wall and toilets needed attending to) however I did enjoy the night watching joker play. Bar and security staff were fairly polite.

Only worth coming here if there's a good band or singer. Not somewhere I would come to just for a drink. Don't get stuck behind big people if you want to see. Beware the steep staircase to the facilities downstairs..
