We took our kids, aged 8 and 10, for their (and our) first coasteering trip. The experience was incredible, we had so much fun and I would highly recommend Rock Solid Coasteering. It was a beautiful route, with seals, gannets and lots of great challenges to suit all levels of bravery! The team are really professional and the trip is a great pace, slow enough to enjoy every minute but not too much time to prevaricate at the top of a jump!
Our whole family loved it, great value, and truly an experience to remember!

An incredible experience! My friend and I booked a last minute morning of coasteering by simply calling them, so a very simple booking process. All equipment (including trashable trainers) was expertly selected for size and provided at no extra cost! We set off with another group of 5 who were very friendly and our leader Rich who throughout the excursion gave great demonstrations and explanations of what to do and how to safely get in and out of the water, followed by cliff jumping, bouldering and swimming.
We even saw two grey seals however we couldn’t get too close due to the risk of scaring the seals away from their natural habitat.
Once we were all tired and cold and wet our leader pulls out a steaming hot flask of hot chocolate that worked wonders and geared us up for the final stretch , a lovely walk and chit chat over the coastal path back to base.
Would highly recommend coasteering with these guys to anyone wishing to challenge themselves or just have fun!!

After being sent to Torquay for the Summer for work purposes, we were looking for adventures and activities to enjoy our free time and the surrounding area.
After speaking to Ziggy over the phone and after having our questions asked, we were easily booked onto a coasteering session.
We had a great time, got a close encounter with I believe a Seal in a small opening (isn't a guarantee you'll see any wildlife but it was certainly a bonus)
The whole day was fun, exciting and adventurous. Ziggy and team were confident hosts, offering fun facts about the area as well as being able to cater for everyone's degrees of comfort.
If you ever find yourself in the area of Torquay and looking for a fun afternoon, then I definitely recommend booking a session in with Rock Solid Coasteering 🙏🏻

You have to try this! What a great afternoon we’ve just had. We chose the Extreme Boat Safari and we’re so glad we did.
After getting kitted out and a safety brief with our guide Zig, we took a stroll down to the beach and then swam out to the RIB waiting for us in the bay. Once we all climbed on board we met our skipper Rob (nice guy, very professional and full of knowledge about the wildlife and coastline). Rob soon demonstrates the power of the boat as we jet off towards our first rock for some practice of climbing and jumping with Zig guiding us through it all. Before we know it, we’re back in the boat exploring the beautiful coastline, swimming through caves, climbing up rocks and leaping off ledges! Each jump got progressively higher and they certainly got your heart pumping! The hot chocolate (& rum) was a nice touch whilst we had a little break before we then got to swim through The Orestone Rock which was awesome. Sadly we didn’t get to see any dolphins but Rob took us up close to one of the 2 cruise liners currently anchored in the bay. Those things are immense when your along side them in a RIB! Our last stop was Bell Rock where we all got to climb and leap once again before swimming through it.
Overall a fantastic experience. Zig was a great guide who’s personality certainly made the afternoon even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!

What a Fantastic afternoon spent with Rock Solid Coasteering, From start to finish I couldn’t fault them. Initial contact to booking with all necessary details provided was spot on with very quick responses. Great way to warm up with Volleyball match lol
Both Ziggy & Tom made us feel safe and comfortable at all Jumps and Climbs. There is something for everyone here and for the fearless, you can test that theory!! Both my son/his cousin (both 16) and I had a great time with a full workout, including Climbing/Swimming & of course Jumping. I cannot recommend this Company/Activity enough when visiting this area. Top team/Top Activity/Top location with the added bonus of some Sunbathing Seals close by. Friendly/Knowledgeable/Helpful and Professional people.

Had a blast doing Coasteering with Ziggy. It was my wife, me and a family of three who we did not know. We each bottled out of one jump or another as our own individual adrenaline level surged or evaporated.
Ziggy used a Go pro to film the jumps and then sent us photos screen grabbed from that, so we did not need to worry about losing our own camera.
Also saw some interesting jelly fish and a seal whilst scrambling over the rocks and swimming through the channels. Great fun. We sometimes felt scared of the jumps but strangely simultaneously always felt safe due to the good quality kit and great instruction by Ziggy.

I booked this for me and my daughter. The whole experience was very professional from start to finish and I’d thoroughly recommend it to anyone. From my first contact with Ziggy his communication and information was first class and that continued during the experience itself. They had the perfect balance of safety, information and fun and put everyone at ease and were very positive & encouraging with the group members that had a bit less confidence. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who fancies a bit of a buzz in a beautiful and natural environment!

We booked as our 12 year old wanted to challenge herself for her Guide Gold Award . The instructions were clear and on arrival the team (Scott, Ziggy, and another - the fantastic instructor/go pro operator ) were there to sort out equipment;wetsuit, buoyancy and, helmet, gloves , shorts and if needed footwear. There is a changing area, but come prepared with a swimming costume on. The safety instructions and checks were clear and the team approachable should you need to ask questions. They assess the group as we start climbing over boulders and first entrances into the water. We had a dynamic group and as we were at a higher tide with great weather we were able to complete the bigger jumps. If the bigger jumps weren’t for you, the team offered lower ledges or alternative. There is enough swims/climbs for most abilities. They take fabulous photos and send them the next day - a time loaded activity which is such a great touch A big thank you to the to rock solid Coasteering- we will be back.

Absolute legends! Epitome of professionalism mixed with some awesome banter. A great day out. These gentlemen provided me and my team of work colleagues with a really good adventurous, exciting and activity packed afternoon on the water, I give them my highest of recommendations and having done this kind of activity before with different companies, I would recommend them over their competition with no hesitation.

What an experience! I cannot get over it. I was a total beginner, probably nervous at times but Ziggy was so supportive and showed me other routes and lower jumps I could do. He thought of everything, he was right - no part of the route is the same. We did climbing, jumping, saw seals, the cave and walked through a meadow (wasn't expecting that). The views were brilliant, so was his knowledge and he took photos and brought hot chocolate (wasn't expecting that either). It was totally worth it, very very impressed at what he can do and what I achieved in the session, would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for a brilliant experience.

Our youngest in the group was 11. They need to be able to swim and pull themselves out of the water (without too much assistance) and scramble up rocks.

I arranged via email as we had rubbish mobile signal, but I'm sure they'll be just as helpful whatever method you choose. Otherwise, how do you organise anything without just simply contacting someone by your preferred method and asking a question?!?
