I saw the cover band 'Think Flyod' here, and the experience was truly amazing (never miss them...) The accustics are excellant, as is the seating and atmosphere. Its in a lovelly location by the pier and the beach and harbour. Truly this was an evening I will never forget...

Unfortunately this once majestic building has been closed for the past couple of years. Built in 1912, it originally featured glorious oak panels throughout and has been home to performances from notables including Sir Lawrence Olivier. Now it just needs someone with the money, passion and vision to bring her back to life. I hope that happens soon.

Looking white and increasingly like the "white elephant" it has become. The Pavilion was closed, and unfortunately, appears to be both unloved, and closed for a number of years with an uncertain future. A building like this , so prominently situated, is something of a civic shame to be left to rot.

Have memories of this years ago and to see it now its a great shame. Not only is it derelict it spoils the sea front. It used to be full of shops but now it all boarded up.

Excellent building but sadly has been closed for at least the last three years. Used to be a super place with small shops and in a great place. Hopefully the council will renovate it soon

Walked past the building so many times, such a waste of a beautiful building to be derelict. Even the wheel next to it does nothing to make it look lovely. Something must really be done to rescue it soon.

Pavilion is closed and has been for years, gardens are still lovely but for how long. Owners of the pavilion want to build a hotel and car park on them.

I believe the Pavilion has been empty, closed and fenced off for about 4 years now and still no sign of life of anything about to change or happen. Such a same for a nice building which used to have nice little shops and places to eat, to remain derelict for so long. Being in such a prominent location near... More

This is an architectural gem and there is talk of it being redeveloped. I hope that this comes to fruition and is done sympathetically both to the surrounding area and the Pavilion itself. Even though it is run down, you can see the potential. Maybe some little boutique shops or traditional style market stalls could go in there; it'd be... More
