We are a family of three with a 12yr old daughter. We did the Rapter Rib speedboat experience and it was brilliant ! The skipper was very professional and we had complete confidence in him. The skipper’s assistance was equally professional and provided excellent commentary with humour which was not only informative but kept you engaged. The speed was exhilarating and so much fun - we couldn’t stop smiling.

WOW! We had the most exhilarating experience on the Raptor. It’s a real must do, and our whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. You get to see the beauty of the Bay from a different angle, plus hit some incredible speeds, and a bit of donutting too! The stunning scenery of Berry Head and getting close up to the ‘resting’ cruise liners was a real treat. The team were so friendly and knowledgeable and we all felt very safe and welcome. I can’t recommend the Raptor highly enough, it’s like F1 with waves. Put this on your bucket list, you’ll be glad you did. Thank you all, we will be back.

It is fantastic to have a small local business that demonstrates an absolute passion for what it does, we first went on the sea safari to learn a little more about the area when we first moved here last year. When we have been allowed to have visitors a sea safari is always a must. Numerous trips in and it still has its magic as there is so much to explore and the Torquay Water Sports team are always keen to ensure they show us something new each time. It has become so addictive that we have now completed our power boat level 2 course with TWS in preparation for getting our own boat at sometime in the future. The course was great fun and was delivered with the customary blend of professionalism and enthusiasm. If you have any interest in boating, the sea, local history, sightseeing, or you just want to have a thoroughly enjoyable time away from everything I can’t recommend Torquay Water Sports highly enough.

Skipper Greg was chatty and informative. He allowed us to choose which areas of the coast we wanted to see. The boat felt safe but also had a good speed so we really felt like we got our moneys worth, zipping around the bays and coves to see as much as possible within the hour. The seals on the rocks outside Paignton harbour was my personal highlight😀.

Susie is a great coach to swim with; whether you're new to the sea, nervous, or experienced and want an adventure or to learn, then I can highly recommend Susie at Torquay Water Sports. Looking forward to more adventures and learning as much as i can. Susie is friendly, fun and professional and makes you feel at ease. Thanks Susie 😀 Greg our skipper was also great and having started off being petrified of getting on a boat ever due to travel sickness, I loved every minute and can't wait to go again.

Utterly brilliant and exhilarating ride around Torquay’s coast line with some amazing friends on a RIB with a knowledgeable driver called Oliver. This was a trip we prebooked whilst on a weekend breakaway and was the best part of the break. Oliver was brilliant and took us out around Torquay and surrounding areas and we even had a close up view of two cruise liners parked up. Even after several hours later me and my friends were still buzzing from the experience. Really worth the money and I would do this again on my next visit. Cheers Oliver and sorry for all the screaming and swearing love from the girls who were made to wear the silly swim hats!

From the moment we arrived, the Raptor team were very welcoming and professional to ensure everyone was fully briefed and secure before hitting the water. Once out the harbour, the 900hp engines went to the max and literally took our breath away! Within a few minutes we were in Paignton, which gave us time to draw breath, before heading to Berry Head. Getting up close to the cruise ships was my highlight, especially when one of them tooted its horn for us! I recommend you add it to your schedule next time you're visiting Torbay...you won't regret it.

If you're in Torbay and you want an unforgettable & memorable experience - get a wiggle on down to the marina and BOOK THIS! We had such a great time. This is such a professional outfit - we felt safe and informed, and all equipment including the phenomenal boat is absolute quality. The staff are lovely. Start to finish, one of the best, most exhilarating activities we've done in the UK. £40 pp - worth every flippin penny! Can't wait to go again!

We went on the one hour Seafari with Ollie and had an amazing time. He has a great knowledge of the area and made sure our 2 girls (16 & 13) were comfortable at all times.
We saw some amazing caves and scenery and even got to see a seal.
This is a very family friendly company.
As the Seafari was so good, my husband and girls then booked The Raptor for later on in the afternoon and absolutely loved it.

We visited as a family of 6, with the youngest being 10 and booked the thrilling speed boat ride. We were not disappointed!! This was so much fun! We reached a top speed of 70mph!
The skippers were friendly, knew their stuff and stopped now and then to check everyone was okay, and to talk abit about the landscape and buildings we could see.
Be prepared to get wet! You will get splashed...alot!
