Great pub

If one likes cider they'll love the Cider Press as they have numerous tasty ciders on tap. There seems to be many regulars in at 3pm and seems a friendly pub.

Blokey sports bar in town centre selling a good range of beers and attractive prices. Its clean and tidy but the facilities upstairs leave a little to be desired. If your thinking of eating here then there are more attractive places close by.

my favourite pub in Torquay & we have been many times, called in Fiday afternoon then went back on the night, loved the rattler & the random music ! Called in on Saturday hoping for more of the same but football on & a completely different crowd so left after one drink, very disappointing but will still try it again... More

Went in The Cider Press after a long walk around Torquay. Not far from harbour, we came across by chance. Good quality beer & nice atmosphere. Only complaint wooden seats very hard so had to move along to get circulation going!

As a visitor spent last Sunday afternoon enjoying the terrific atmosphere of the very old fashioned but friendly pub and entertainment of Steve Laister who is absolutely fantastic. A good singer and comedian whereby he had us all laying down on the ground outside singing and clapping. The staff were superb and the ciders were good as well. Well worth... More

I would give the Cider Press a higher rating but I was incredibly patronised by the bar man. For some reason he saw the need to continually explain that the Hunt's cider was 'very dry, flat and slightly warm' 'i can put some ice in'. Thanks, I'm nearly 30, born and raised in Devon, I have had plenty of dry... More

Sunday afternoon is a must if you like a good roast and some brilliant 'Cheese' music. Having discovered this pub last year we had to return. It's very small but welcoming. Love everything about it and we will be back!!

Popped in to try their cider and glad we did. Oldie world pub with plenty of atmosphere and even more choice of cider, as visitors made very welcome. I believe they have entertainment at night, sorry we missed it
