Torquay town covers a large area that takes in the shopping centre, high street, harbour and main esplanade. The shops are mainly what you now find in any British town centre, consisting of chain stores and other country wide names. As it is Devon there are lots of places to buy ‘Cornish’ pasties Cafes and restaurants abound so you’re never... More

Lots to see and do, lovely food and the torquay eye is well worth a go. Lots of great restaurants and bars along the seafront definitely worth a visit.

Torquay is a busy town. It shares the same coastline as Paignton brixam, sea facing. It is more commercial place as such. I enjoyed all the coastal towns from Torquay. The bus service from Torquay to Brixham gives you a wonderful insight of the sea front and surrounding areas.

I haven't been to Torquay for years and thought it would be a nice finish to our day, having had a lovely few hours in Brixham. Well I wish we hadn't bothered. To say the town/area has changed for the worse is an understatement. It would appear that the once "family" orientated resort has decided to become a haven for... More

Me and my sister travelled into Torquay by car from Paignton , Only 3 miles away. Car parks a plenty and at £1 per hour not to bad . Flat , But there is a steep climb to some of the shops ,With lots of shops traditional and slightly quirky ones, Coffee/tea places and a fab marina where you could... More

This resort is busy with traffic close to the resort amenities and recreational areas. This could be good or bad depending on how you look on it. If you are a motorist then great because you can drive around much of it and choose where to park. Large marina in harbour area and a fair size shopping area. Plenty of... More
