My husband and I visited with our two children 12 & 9. We had a lovely time. We went in the day time and had a free return visit in the evening over Halloween. The models are quite impressive and quite humorous if you take the time to read and listen to everything. The return visit on Halloween was good... More

The model village includes a number of Torquay attractions and numerous special scenes. It is worth going a couple of hours before dusk - have a good look around and then at dusk the whole scene comes alive with illuminations so it is worth going around again and re-looking at everything with the illuminations. If you want a picnic tea... More

We visited the model village a long time ago with our parents and then with our own children many years ago. It was lovely to be able to walk round this time and enjoy the effort and hard work put in by those working there without being rushed round by children. The weather wasn't with us this time but did... More

We haven't visited the Model Village for years, when the kids were little. They are all grown up now and we had a wonderful time, and they enjoyed it just as much as before if not more. There is so much to see.

Now I'm not one for model villages - I never liked Lego! But I had to eat my hat on this one it was truly amazing. I won't give detail away but there was something for everyone there and all done with great precision and a touch of humour. A wonderful visit for the whole family - whatever the age!

The visit was ok it didn't really meet our expectations. The models constructed were really good and well put together with a wide range of models from Harry Potter to great British bake off I feel that the place would be better for children then adults A wide range of facilities available such as the cafe which was quite highly... We went to the model village as evening was drawing on - they were open New Year's Eve, which was great, as many things were closed. The pretty Christmas lights were a treat on the bushes behind the displays as well as on them. I had been many years ago, and it was lovely to revisit and see changes and... More

We visited in October for the Halloween event and took out an annual pass and so visited this Christmas too. The village is beautiful and there is so much to see that multiple visits don't get boring. My little nephews loved the golf and sledges this visit. The new zoo is fantastic and looking forward to the canal being finished... More
