Went twice to this cinema while in Torquay. Its £7 admission to this cinema its very dated looks like a throw back to th 60,s or 70,s so just be prepared for the culture shock. The important thing is the screen quality is good and the sound is fairly good too.Looked at the Vue in Paignton which dosent even bother to display... Have now been twice most recently to se Rogue One. Prices are low compared to VUE. Staff are friendly. It is getting a bit worn at the edges as someone else commented but that is part of its appeal. Seats were comfy & sound & visual quality of the films we saw were good.

Visited this cinema while on a short break between xmas and new year. Like a throw back to 70's but delightful. The prices are very reasonable if other cinemas around country were priced like this maybe more people would attend them. It was £7 for an adult. The staff were very friendly. We were going to go back next day... More

Central Cinema is local to us, the larger Vue in Paignton a little further away, so we like to support it. The range of films is good with the latest releases and quite rapid rotation from the main screen to those smaller rooms. Picture and sound quality, seating (childrens wedges seats on request) are all good but the whole building... More

OK, so the surroundings may not be to the standards of the premium cinema chains but the seating is comfortable, the sound is clear and the films are of the same quality. All at very reasonable prices, and the staff go out of their way to be helpfull. A great local amenity, long may it continue.

Took grandson to watch Swallows and Amazons last Friday. The first thing to greet you on your way down to screen 2 is the dreadful smell of??! Urine?? Or Mould?? Slightly less inside cinema but when the showing started( with Adverts) we were almost deafened . After checking with a few other clients ( there weren't many) I went to... More

Really sorry about the odour. As you noticed this vanished after you went down the stairs into the air conditioned theatre. The smell, unfortunately, comes from the outside pub where, after a Saturday night, some very inconsiderate people have started relieving themselves against out exit ways. I am sorry. The audio level is all fixed by the producers, so it... More

Went to see Finding Dory today and the screen was actually out of focus!!! Could believe it. Told the guy when the adverts started and he went off to investigate but never came back so I waited until the film started to see if it changed. It didn't. It was making my kids feel dizzy trying to read the words... More

Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry that they didn't appear to take it seriously. The films are beamed to us electronically and as soon as we had your report we contacted the technical staff who electronically resent the image. I am sorry you didn't stay because it was fixed during the show and is fine now. More

We recently visited this cinema with our 6yr old daughter who has Autism. As the cinema was extremely busy I knew most of the seats would be full and that she may find it difficult having that many people around her. When I explained the situation to the staff and asked if there was a disabled seating area they were... More

We went to watch finding dory, I booked online and you really can't beat the prices! Great seats with leg room and ours had reserved signs on, which was a nice touch.
