We went to Circa for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was the first evening if the season and the staff were really friendly, the food excellent and the service good. Lovely setting and atmosphere. We will be back!

We had lunch at Circa at Sandridge and oh my goodness it was AMAZING. The restaurant has a great vibe, with very welcoming and accommodating staff, the menu was varied and everything sounded delicious so loved that we could have several small plates to sample lots that they have on offer, everything was immaculately served and tasted absolutely divine - special mention to nettle tagliatelle which knocked our socks off. Thank you to Circa for such a lovely meal, we will be back and telling everyone we know about it!

Booked the wine tasting tour and also lunch. Very enthusiastic and welcoming team at Circa, the restaurant attached to the vineyard. I have to say the food was up there with the best I have had. We ordered the Charcuterie, ragu, beetroot and broccoli. All very flavoursome. Wines from local grapes very well suited to the food. Service was fantastic throughout. Wine tasting experience interesting and well delivered. Enthusiastic talk about the wine and how it’s made delivered by a very knowledgeable gentleman. Would recommend and will return.

We had a fabulous wine tour and tasting session led by Laura who was hugely knowledgeable, welcoming and enthusiastic. The wines we tasted were delicious, as was the cheese and made all the more special by the amazing location. Thoroughly recommend!

First visit with friends for lunch. The beef starter and focaccia were delicious. Mains were ok but not particularly tasty. We had the brill and sea bass. Cocktails were good but very small. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, disappointing as expensive and food although sounds exciting was dull in taste. Shame as setting is lovely and waiting staff were welcoming.

You get an hours visit and three wines followed by a cheese course. The distillery is small so easy to understand the whole process without too much effort. Portions were generous and you will most likely enjoy at least one of them. It was a good variety on our visit: a sparkling brut, a wine blanc and a deep red. Sell other local produce as well. All of us went away with something, so must have been good.

We have a 2nd home locally and were really excited to visit SB and support a local winemaker and restaurant. In short, the food and venue are top notch but the overall experience was badly let down by really poor service. Our young waiter didn’t write anything down (despite my prompting) and proceeded to get both our order wrong and (later) the bill. Given the fact that this is a small plates restaurant (12 different plates between 4 of us) getting the order wrong was really frustrating and disruptive. It also meant that lunch for 4 took 2.5 hours because the service is so slow. Would maybe return but certainly not recommend. Shame.

I went last year shortly after opening and it is still a lovely venue, surprised picnic area was under-developed. Had lunch at Circa restaurant and unlike last year with excellent steak and chips, the menu was weird with small plates but not like tapas dishes which are tasty and moreish. This menu was confusing and the only thing in common with tapas were the small plates. Lots of positives but used to really love the old Sharpham cafe where the food was different in a good way and you came away not feeling ripped off. The staff were great but I just didn't like the food - I wish I'd just ordered cheese with the excellent wine but sadly won't be going back whilst the menu stays in this format.

Fantastic visit. Laura our guide through our wine tasting and tour was so knowledgeable and lovely as she took us round the whole process. Answered every question and gave out so much information. We tasted three fab wines and ate delicious cheese. A really good and worthwhile experience. Sad we hadn’t booked lunch as the restaurant looked great. We will go back just to try the food now

We had the most amazing lunch today, there Were four of us so we had all the dishes and shared them! Stunning flavours, the best food I’ve eaten for ages….. oh and I’m a vegetarian! We also popped into the shop on the way out! Thank you so much!
