Visited last Sunday, as our granddaughter was at the local Dance school.....first up, super friendly service, I mean REAL, genuine warmth from the staff.....a lovely change from the norm you find in most places. Coffee (and there was a bewildering choice ) was gorgeous, and the fantastic home made cakes looked so tempting, we had to partake. Wonderful taste. Cafe... More

Went to China blue with a couple of friends last Saturday, lovely food and quick service. But staffing was a major issue for us. We where served by a young girl in her teens with long darkish hair , who was extremely rude, ignored us for roughly five minutes and when we did get served she was not very helpful... More

Met a client here and we hogged a table in the cafe for over 4 hours. Coffee was good, lunch pleasant enough and nobody was in a hurry to move us along. Free WIFI was useful too. If I was being picky, I would say that having food on the menu that isn't available is a bit irritating - I... More

Nice coffee but the service was very slow and inattentive. Only one group in front of us in the queue but due to the disorganised manner of the service it still took 10 minutes to serve us two coffees and a brownie. Nice place, just don't go there if you're in a rush.....

Went to China Blue with the hope of seeing some good Devon pottery. What a disappointment . The store was full of Christmas goods and one stand of awful pottery. OK it is Christmastime so we decide to go for a coffee and cake only to find a dog in the cafe being fed scraps from the table by the... More

My family were invited to a children's Birthday Party, which of course included all the fun of creating ceramic potteries and enjoying lovely coffees and homemade food in the cafe. Somewhat unique and an Aladdin's cave offering festive fun and a buzz around the blaze, which suggested this business is a goldmine. I would recommend a visit anytime to feel... More

Visited with friends who were holidaying with us. They bought several gifts to take home and have since rang to ask if we could get them other items they'd seen. When we visit them shortly our car boot will be full! We enjoyed browsing as there are so many lovely things to buy, we were spoiled for choice! We also... More
