Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The comedy gig was fine but the only bright spot about the venue was the ushers who were charming and helpful. It is and feels an intimidatingly big and somewhat bleak environment. The toilets were not as clean as they should be . (This was at the interval and I appreciate the difficulty with so much traffic but that doesn’t make it acceptable.) It was a challenge to track down an ice cream, though lovely when my husband succeeded.
By far the worst aspect was the car park. The lifts seem to operate from one button, so repeatedly pressing to stop people hijacking the lift one floor up was impossible. When you finally managed to reach the car, you sat for about three quarters of an hour in stationary traffic with all the concomitant exhaust fumes in an enclosed environment before belatedly idea of someone perhaps had the idea of opening the gate without ticket checking delays.

Went to see a comedy gig at BIC. The gig was fine although BIC is not a suitable venue being completely devoid of atmosphere with seating packed in leaving almost no room to get in and out of you row. The decore is very much like a delapidated leisure centre complex from the early eighties. Not suitable for music or theatre.
By far the worst aspect though is the car park! Leaving the venue at the end of the gig we sat in our car unable to leave as everywhere was grid locked for 45 minutes. Stationary cars sat with engines running the entire time despite the lack of air flow through the different levels.
My one resolution when we finally were able to leave was to never return to Bournemouth International Centre and its dreadful car park.

Went to see Bring Me The Horizon (who were amazing and had a great time). The doors opened at 5:30 according to the information given out, but were stood still in queue for over 45 mins with no movement. Missed the first support act because of this. The layout was good, access to merch was quick, ticket scanning was fast and drinks were easy to purchase.

Attend a Madness concert here was very disappointing. Toilets were disgusting and security didn't nothing when we where nearly attacked by two drunk men so we left .Not a very safe venue will not be going back ever!

I've learnt from previous experience of both the Pavilion & BIC that its better to travel a distance from Bournemouth/Poole to see your favourite bands, even if you need to book a hotel for the night. The BIC and Pavilion, thanks to "BH Leisure" poor management, are run down venues that have been starved of investment for years. Where as other venues have been refurbished and upgraded over the years these two have been left to rot. Ticket prices are always high and equal or exceed that of other far superior venues on a bands tour. Avoid until BCP/ BH Leisure get their act together and sell these venues to an operator who will invest and provide the area with at least one venue to be proud of and enjoy your visit.

Both Winter Gardens and BH2 car parks were full so used the BIC car park. Entered at 3pm and left at 7:30pm on Saturday and I was charged £16.

Apparently £10 was a flat fee due to an event at the BIC but I don't understand how I was then charged the extra £6?

The £10 flat fee is not advertised when you enter the car park - the sign's go up later.

Its like a lottery on how much you will end up paying for parking at this venue. The price changes during your stay. Beware!

Lady scanning tickets on door 6 on October 13th extremely rude. Didn't understand how to scan a ticket and grabbed my phone without asking and was tutting at us when we were nothing but polite. I would recommend customer service training ASAP.

Mickey Flanagan “we all need this “ tour
I’m a Londoner and love his work , but ……
After a five year break , he should have stayed at home 🙄
Not funny , just a re hash of old material and a grumpy old man 😞
Gutted 😭, was really excited to see him again , paid £110.00 per ticket.
Feel sorry for him and I hope he uses my money to retire. 👎🏼

The car park is the worst I have ever used. It is not fit for purpose. The lanes for entering, moving up and down the levels are very narrow. The signage especially for the exit lane is very confusing. If you have any car bigger than a mini you will be need to be extremely careful not to have a bump or scrape. The exit and entrance is almost impossible to turn into, it's such an awful angle and too tight. The side barriers have plenty of damage to show how difficult parking here will be.

The lighting is poor and ceilings very low.
I would recommend you do not use this car park unless its a last resort.

Thanks for leaving a review although I’m sorry to hear that you struggled with the car park. We are working on some upgrades in the new year, and will take on board your feedback about signage as part of that project. Regards. R. Noverraz
