Very accommodating location for our charity event. Staff fantastic. Really enthusiastic and friendly. Event ahead well maintained and looked after. Any asks for improvements maybe draught drinks to explain the cost (£5 a drink on average)

What a night! Brilliant. Now I am not good at improvisation, but I spent a year studying at Second City, in Chicago, the originating of modern-day improv back in 1955, I was coached by the Director Training at Comedy Sportz, I watched long form at Improv Olympic, and I even spent a painful weekend being coached by Paul Sills, the son of Viola Spolin who wrote the book on improvisation. All of which to say I have experienced a little improvisation from both side of the footlights. And tonight...was surely the most fun I have ever had at an improv show. John, Mark, Michelle and Neal were awesome. A quirky mix of characters that worked so well together. Helped by the fact that Michelle has a phenomenal voice and impressive character range. Topped off by Doug on the piano - another brilliant character and improviser in himself. And what made it so special, was their masterful engagement with the audience (even the 9-year old!), improvising joyously with their prompts, both requested and those that were not. Thank you! You were so inspiring!

Went with my teen daughter for lunch. Loved the friendly, quirky vibe of this place. Food was good and service impeccable. Will be coming again for a night in the theatre- this place is such a great asset to Boscombe, make sure you check it out you won’t be disappointed

I went to the Musical Theatre improv workshop today. It was an amazing two hours of singing and laughter, led by our amazing hosts Jon and Doug (on the keyboard). John and Doug skilfully led us through the basics giving us confidence to improvise and sing together. I'm still buzzing from the experience and am really looking forward to the next workshop.

This is a lovely little theatre but I not sure about the black walls and ceilings, being depressing. Also the food is awful and whenever I have gone in I've not got anything I wanted. The menu said soup but the soup had to be thawed out. You need to get yourself a good chef. As for the entertainment, it's been hit and miss Some great comedy shows but the following month it was dire, hardly anybody there and the line up was dismal. I love having this theatre in Boscombe, it reminds me of Brixton back in the day...but lots of improvements needed. It's not a place I would go for lunch or go for a drink other than to see stand up

I want to shout from the roof tops and tell everyone about this place. I've been three times now to watch performances. It's like stepping into a bohemian cool cafe/bar/restaurant in Camden London. I watched Bounce last night. I was astounded by the performance. It took my breath away. Please please support this amazing place and what it offers.. Thank you Black Cherry x

This was a real treat to find and so glad we visited. This is a great non profit that runs a range of events and programmes that really enhance the high street. The owners are really passionate about what they do and the upcoming events, writing and producing content as well as getting in visiting artists. The food was great and fairly priced. The place has real atmosphere and I will be back again soon!
