Coastal Comedy has venues in Bournemouth and Poole and won the BH Stars award for the best night out in the area. Each show has a line up of 3 professional comedians including a TV Headliner as seen on programmes such as: Mock the week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) or Live at the Apollo (BBC1) for example. Plus the host and is a great night out for couples, work do's, groups of friends, or come on your own. Our Coastal Comedy shows offer you a great chance to see a famous face close up and personal in a superb intimate setting. We pride ourselves on bringing the very best stand up comics on the circuit together for a fantastic line up and acts that have graced our stage include: Lee Nelson, Lost Voice Guy, Gary Delaney, Jo Caulfield, Zoe Lyons, Angela Barnes, Jarred Christmas, Joel Dommett, Ed Gamble - just to name a few. As EVER always good, GREAT value for money and love Adrienne was faaaab, great improv, often BETTER than the 'designated' stand ups. Love the tall, mature Canadian guy with the water bottle too! Cant recommend this night of laughter enough!!

What a night at the Coastal Comedy curated Bournemouth Comedy festival! Paul Tonkinson opened with a shall we say family inspired set...so familiar to a lot of us! Next was Jake Lambert. Although I've seen Jake before his fast paced whitty, and occasionally risque style went down well, and set up the last act ...it's hard to say Headliner, as all are headliners in the truest sense.... Troy Hawke, yes he, the one and only gentleman from the Professional Greeters Guild. Troy was a great storyteller with fantastic audience engagement, very funny! Coastal comedy have nights all over the area from Ringwood, and Paole to Bournemouth. The Bournemouth comedy festival is on all weekend and has something for everyone even kids. Revolution is a great new venue for Coastal comedy and pints of Amstel were £2.50...bargain. credit also goes to Bournemouth BID who assisted and putting this particular night on. Well done everyone.

Fabulous night- hilarious stand ups

Fantastic night at the Brasshaus in Bournemouth watching Zoe Lyon’s. Laughed til I cried. The support acts were both hilarious too as was the host Adrienne. Great venue! Part of the Bournemouth comedy week. If you get the chance to see any stand ups this company hosts go!! You will not be disappointed

Always a great evening of entertainment, ably hosted by Adrienne. I've been to a few venues with Coastal Comedy and it's always different with a good variety of acts. Easy to hide if you don't wish to be picked on!

A really good night out with friends, been a couple of times and the acts have been all been good and because of the size of the venue it is really intimate and good audience interaction. Will be going again.

A wonderful evening. Great acts with a brill compare. We've been to a few Coastal Comedy shows in different venues and always guaranteed a fantastic night and also such good value for money too. Only downside is how much my face aches afterwards from all the laughing. Highly recommended!

I have been consistently impressed with Coastal Comedy and my first visit to Canvas did not disappoint. Rob Deering was absolutely brilliant and we were warmly welcomed on arrival.

I have been to 5 Coastal Comedy shows and I have thoroughly enjoyed them all. They are all great value for money at £17 - and you get to see many famous names.

The night was incredible and unexpectedly good for a local comedy night. Adrienne Cole was the most amazing host with a wicked, keen and sharp sense of humour and plenty of energy for the whole night. Plastic Jeezus (admittedly, they're one of my favourite acts anyway) kicked the night off with amazing wit in their lyrics and performance and definitely left the audience wanting more. Fortunately for us, there was Martin Wratten to keep the high going. His tales of Eastbourne and of his time as an ice cream vendor had the audience right where he wanted them and roaring with laughter.

As if we already hadn't had more than our money worth, there was still one act to go. Nathan Caton hit the stage and absolutely owned the place. Thanks Nathan.i will never be able to look at my wedding photos without laughing again, nor will I ever see aTesco value cake without pricing it at £995 and thinking of all the joy it could bring to a wedding. I smiled and laughed so much, my cheeks hurt all the way home (they're still a little sore this morning. Just like your legs after run (or at least if I ever went for a run))

A small venue which made the evening even funnier as the interaction with the crowd was brilliant.
Amazing acts and the compare was excellent.
We are regulars to coastal comedy

Adrianne is a hilarious compere and does a great job warming up the audience, sometimes she is funnier than the acts! We've been to three nights this season and each night we had a great time. Great little venue inside the Lighthouse, recommend!

The hecklers are funnier than the comedians.

3 acts of which the first was very unfunny, in fact my cat is much more amusing. Katie Price was next and watching paint drying would have been more entertaining. Simply she’s in the wrong job. Slight recovery by the headline act, first laughs of the evening but for £18 each and 90 minutes of uncomfortable seating while the first acts droned on you could have much more fun with your money. Spend it on anything rather than this. We won’t be back again.

It’s a shame you didn’t enjoy the show, comedy as one of the arts is subjective. We don’t allow heckling and there certainly wasn’t any heckling at this show, which many enjoyed, so we are unsure if you have the right one.

3 comedians of varying humour and Adrienne the compere spectacular! Went to Canvas last night, small and intimate show unlike the larger venues they use sometimes so a different atmosphere. Great for a night out where you can sit, laugh and have a drink. Can't wait for next month's hilarity!
