Nice church, wonderful churchyard

Not an ancient church but warm and welcoming. The graveyard has the tomb of Mary Shelley and the area is a haven for wildlife.

Well worth a visit. It's right among the shops. Lovely building. Mary Shelley is buried there, but I didn't find her grave (I didn't look too hard). It looks like they have plenty of things on, so have a look at their website. They also have parking, so if you're only going into the centre to visit the church, perhaps... More

Beautiful church, the stained glass is gorgeous. A piano recital added extra ambiance to this lovely place. Churchyard was unusual and interesting with some prominent tombs of the famous and wealthy.

Visited here for half an hour, interesting to see the grave of Mary Shelly the author of Frankenstein books plus some other graves of people involved with the creation of bournemouth, there is a board that shows you where all the graves are and a history of who is buried there which was informative.

What a breath taking example of a beautiful church. Walk in and be at one with God and self. Fantastic stained glass. Even Mary Shelleys(Frankenstein author) heart is buried there!!! Very gothic, just the place to be on a stormy thundery night!!!!

We were amazed on entering to see the interior - the walls are covered in frescos, most beautiful. There is also a stained glass window by Morris and Burne-=Jones. Nice little cafe staffed by friendly people. Position is handy when visiting the shopsl

Beautiful church designed by the Victorian architect, G.E.Street. Great decoration and details. Someone was playing the piano.

This church is absolutely beautiful. I was brought up High Church and this is reminiscent of the church I attended as a child. Stunning!

This is a fabulous place to go and listen to classical music (probably other types of music too) especially choral works. The acoustics are really mellow and beautiful.
