Bliss Aviation provides helicopter sight seeing tours of Bournemouth, Poole, Isle of Wight and the Purbecks. We have been operating helicopters from Bournemouth airport for over 20 years and also have a flight training school for helicopters and aeroplanes.

What an amazing experience! 👏 I booked this last year for my wife's birthday and due to englands weather, we had to rearrange a few times. The team at Bliss Aviation were very accommodating. When it came to the flight, our pilot Toby was exceptional. A terrific host and brilliant pilot. It made for a very memorable experience which we will cherish for a very long time. THANKYOU! Highly recommended!

Our instructor, Ade, was fantastic - relaxed, knowledgeable and patient.
Had a trial lesson over Poole, Sandbanks and Hengisbury Head.
Flying is never going to be cheap but we felt looked after and had a really fun, learning experience - worth saving up for!

I have become a bit of a regular here. If your thinking of a LAPL or PPL things to consider. Yes landing fees at Bournemouth are more expensive so it will cost a little more than a grass strip cheeper airfield. However. Learning to fly in a proper airfield with full ATC does mean right from the start you are learning properly and have no fear of ATC. Bournemouths also at sea level and with a long runway you can fly most of the time unlike grass runways at altitude. I have flown at other airfields and all have their charm but nothing is like being told to circle once and come in to land after a A340 or even a Easyjet. Great place to fly from and great bunch of guys that run it.

We had a stunning day with Toby at Bliss. A slight
problem with aircraft so Bliss very quickly substituted a 3 seater in place of the 4 seater & saved our day with an extra flight. We had Ade fly us & he was great particularly with our 3 grandchildren. Superb 30 minute flights with stunning views over Christchurch, Bournemouth, Sandbanks & Isle of Purbeck.
Unfortunately it was all over too quickly but this was a large numbered birthday present for my wife in particular. We also found a super method for getting there which was a Routemaster24 driven by Chris & Carl who really made our day too.
Just as a footnote allow plenty of time in case weather is risky. Although we did do this in February.

Finally booked the helicopter lesson after we had to cancel several times. BLISS were hugely understanding about this. Toby was so helpful and professional. It was nice to finally meet him.
The flight itself was out of this world. Felt like we were up in the sky for hours..we bought a 40 minute lesson.
Our pilot, Adi, was fantastic. He was fun, informative, professional, and great company. But most importantly we felt very safe in his hands.
Something like this is usually a once in a life time experience , but we enjoyed it so much, we will definitely be booking again with these guys.
Adi and Toby BLISS have given us a top time..with the most amazing views over the beautiful Dorset coastline, this is a must-do bucket list experience...and it's affordable too. Thanks guys. You're the best!

Our family bought a helicopter trip over Bournemouth for my wife and I to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary what a fantastic experience. A clear pre flight safely briefing. We flew In thei smaller 4 seater helicopter, the views were amazing. Travelling over Christchurch and then along the coast past Boscombe and Bournemouth piers and on over the entrance to Poole Harbour over land to Corfe Castle then across to Swanage and back along the coast to Christchurch and back over Bournemouth Airport to land absolutely superb Thanks

This was absolutely fantastic! The pilot - Jim - gave a fab commentary throughout the flight

How many people can go in the helicopter on the sightseeing trip? 2 adults and 2 kids?

Is the 30 minutes actual flying time please, or does that include all the checks, thus reducing the flying time? Thank you
The 30 minutes is the whole experience time. The time spent in the air will be slightly shorter.
