We booked a vineyard tour with picnic lunch gifted by way of a £100 gift voucher for a birthday present. £25 per person for the tour and £25 per person for the picnic. We visited on a Sunday morning for our tour and thoroughly enjoyed the tour by Emma. It was an excellent morning spent with her.
She was very knowledgeable and gave a superb tour. It was very interesting and definitely worthwhile. And being able to sample some wines was lovely too. The rose was especially nice.

With our visit we had a picnic lunch. Unfortunately this was very disappointing and underwhelming at £25 per person. It consisted of a packet of crisps, a small bowl of salad between two, a roll filled with brie, salami and another meat with some rocket, a large sausage roll, a small chocolate slice and a glass of wine. It was delivered in a cardboard box individually wrapped in tin foil. Unlike the cruise coach guests who had theirs nicely presented on wooden boards etc and very well looked after. It was definitely a disappointment compared to the excellent tour we had taken part in.

The guided tour is definitely worth a visit but personally I wouldn't waste my money on the food side of the experience as this really was a disappointment.

Hi Lesley, Thanks for your feedback and we're really glad you enjoyed your tour with Emma on Sunday. We are sorry to hear that you feel the picnic package that you had wasn't good value for money. It's probably worth us breaking the costing of this package down to provide a bit of insight. The picnic is sold individually for £19.50, and the glass of Blanc de Blancs that you received is usually priced at £10.30 per glass, so there is some significant discounting involved when purchasing this package. We do put the picnics in disposable boxed packaging as we have many guests who prefer to take this lunch into our vineyard where there are picnic tables within the hedgerows, and sometimes they may want to take some items home to finish later. This is meant to make this whole process easier and more flexible. Our guests from the cruise ship are on a specific itinerary that we have worked out in advance, and this is also at a different pricing structure. We'd love to have you back out at the estate, and if you're in the area, please feel free to drop in for a glass of wine.

With a gift voucher from our children we went the whole hog and had the meal followed by the tour. The meal was light but delicious - just right for lunch and accompanied by a glass of their best sparkling wine as part of the deal which made it good value. The tour lasts about two hours and we were very fortunate that there was only one other couple (this was November but a lucky sunny day). The tour is really good with Emma who is so interesting and it does not sound one bit as if she is following a repeat formula - which she isn’t as she very much tailors it to her audience. Two hours sounded a lot but it flashed by. As well as the wine we had with our lunch, we got to taste the other three sparkling wines they produce with some great guidance on what we were experiencing. Of course we went away with a bottle - a great souvenir of a lovely day.

My husband and I joined a small organised group from Corfe Castle last Thursday, 20th June for a morning tour of the Langham Wine Estate Vineyard to be followed by lunch. The experience was above and beyond anything we imagined and we would certainly recommend it to all who might be interested in learning about the production of sparkling wines and, of course, the taste.

Our brilliant tour leader, Emma, positively brimmed with enthusiasm and with sparkling good humour and extensive knowledge kept us entertained for two hours as we progressed from the vineyard to the winery and thence to to dining area. We sampled four different wines, ate a delicious and very generous picnic lunch and went home happily tipsy, many of us buying bottles at the shop for future celebrations.

It is worth mentioning that the café and bar serve delicious meals , coffees, drinks and more with indoor and outdoor seating. We'll be back!

We were kindly offered a guided tour despite booking self guided at no additional cost due to a cancellation. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about Langham Winery, their history and products.
We would thoroughly recommend booking the guided tour and learning so much more about the wine making process and seeing 'behind the scenes'.

The tasting was calm and elegant with no pressure placed to try or buy and no cheeky comments of 'just a sip', to those of us who confirmed we were driving and wouldn't partake. This was appreciated as it's often said by others.

Thank you Langham Winery for toasting so finely a lovely weekend away.

We ventured out on our own from our cruise ship to Langham Wine Estate and we are glad we did. The information from their website made finding a reliable cab company so easy and taking a cab was quick and inexpensive.
Once we arrived at the winery, we did a walking tour on our own because the cruise ship had booked the guided tour but as we walked around, just enjoying the beauty all around us and reading their signs, a person working in the vineyard talked to us about what they were doing, and we got to meet their wonderful dog whose name eludes me.

After our walking tour, we sat at a table under their barn roof and enjoyed sampling wine. We ordered a delicious lunch and more wine. We never felt rushed, and the waitress was so friendly and helpful. Two people in our party are gluten free and they easily accommodated us.

I would recommend Langham Wine Estates to anyone who loves wine, good food, and outdoor beauty.

A group of six friends (including experienced wine connoisseurs and total newbies) all thoroughly enjoyed our very comprehensive tour and tasting, led by our excellent guide and host, Emma. We all commented on her remarkably knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining presentation. I thought it was far superior than those I had experienced in the assorted champagne houses in the Epernay region. I felt we had a much more personal and intimate tour and were able to absorb the unique history and ethos of Langhams. I particularly appreciated touring the vineyard itself and being immersed in the fascinating viticulture/botany aspects of wine production, including the year in the life of a vine. The double fermentation process was explained clearly and we were close enough to be able to see every part of the production. We all appreciated being able to ask lots of questions which were welcomed by Emma. The tasting session was also very well delivered and explained in good detail. Great fun too! The wines were absolutely lovely, full of character and did not disappoint. Quite a lot of shopping followed! My favourites were the Blanc de blanc, the Rose and the Culver. Delicious! So huge thanks to the wonderful Emma and all the Langhams team for a very comprehensive and enjoyable immersion into the Langham wine family. I would certainly recommend taking a tour!

Wow! Had the best experience with my friends on Saturday for a private tour at Langham with Emma. Emma has clearly excellent knowledge of the business and history. She has the most wonderful, funny and interesting stories in a warm, intriguing tone. I could listen to her stories all day! I learnt so much and enjoyed some exquisite flavours, so of course, I purchased bottles at an excellent price.
Would 100% recommend you book this tour for a wonderful day out!

We visited the vineyard on Saturday for the tour and tasting. Our guide Emma was excellent and made the tour interesting educational and fun. The tour really made me appreciate why the methode champenoise sparkling wines command a premium price. The tour finished with a tasting of three of their product again Emma really explained the differences between the products which were all delicious. Particularly impressive was the fact that at no point was there any pressure to buy anything. Needless to say we did purchase and Emma we will drink them soon as instructed!

We went on the tour at 1030hrs in the morning, on the 15th Anniversary weekend. The tour was excellent and Emma (our guide) is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. The tour was interesting, informative and fun. As it was a free tour it was explained that we were not getting the full tour, but we still had a good time for 90 minutes. The set up there looks good and we will definitely go back, when it is less busy. We did miss out on the tasting, as the queue was longer than we were prepared to wait. However this is presumably an exception due to the tours being free. Not sure what some people were expectingconsidering they were not paying for it. Thank you to the family for putitng on the event, and hopefully your wines will continue to win awards.

We started with a delicious 2 course lunch (choice of 3 dishes for each and a glass of the wonderful award winning blanc de blancs and then joined a 2 hour tour of the wine estate. Our guide, Emma, was passionate, informative and entertaining and I’d recommend even those hesitant as to their interest in the ins and outs of wine making to make the trip- a thoroughly enjoyable experience, two hours flew by as we learned about the particularity of the Langham estate as well as plenty of enlightening information about the méthode champenoise. All rounded off with a superbly guided tasting of the main house cuvées. Highly recommended!
